For swiss or european citizens, the answer is very simple - it is easy. If you ask a third country national who has no swiss/eu spouse or relatives, it is not easy at all. You have to show the company that you are the one and only candidate for them, that no swiss/eu could be suitable for this job. Many international students came to Switzerland to study but they have to finally leave the country just because they are not swiss or eu citizen not because of them lacking competence. People just dont know how privileged they are.

@carpido Жыл бұрын
Wow Great video! I think this kind of videos help people a lot to prepare themselves before moving to switzerland, something I would have appreciated 10 years ago before coming here from spain😅 I am currently also working in Zurich and I think my recommendations for people would be: - If you live outside of switzerland, don't come "to try", because the cost of living is not comparable to any of the european countries and you will see how your savings will be consumed before you find a job. - Prepare your languages, you will need them. Depending obviously on the sector I recommend at least a good level of English, but you will probably need to have a conversational level of German as well, at least if you live in the German part of the country. At first you will struggle with the Swiss dialect, but people are usually very understanding and will speak high German so you can converse. - For anyone outside of Switzerland who wants to live here permanently, you will need a residence permit. The reality is that you need a job first to apply for the permit and not the other way around, many companies will not want to hire you without the permit, but that job could help you get the permit. Talk it over with the company you are applying to or try to find a first job to get the permit and then everything will be fine. Those would be under my point of view the most important points to take into account, I hope it helps some people who are encouraged to come to this wonderful country. Glad to help! Greetings guys!

I lived in a few countries and Switzerland reminds me of UAE in many ways. In both countries it is much easier if you are already in the country and apply with a local number/adress. However you will still need networking to get the really good jobs. Housing market in Switzerland is more difficult than in UAE because everybody has money in Switzerland compared to UAE where a lot of lower class workers from India/Bangladesh/Philippines live. In Switzerland is much more expected from you at work than for example in Germany, don't expect to have a very good Work/Life balance. Also everything tends to turn only about money, life and fun is not considered as important. For a few years to save money Switzerland is great, long term it depends what personality type you are.

Got this in my recommendations. After watching this video, I have a question: Are you guys full-time KZbinrs, or do you have another job and KZbin is a side gig?

Hello, thanks for sharing this video. I would like to know if there is there anyway skilled workers like entry level IT professional with 0-1 year of experience can move to Switzerland, with employers that offer sponsorships visa, for bilingual candidates (English / French) fluent, I’m struggling financially, and would love to know more about resources like recruiting companies that offers that. I’m a Lebanese citizen, that’s why. I got many rejections since March 2022, and finished my internship on April 2022 Keep up the good work !

I am looking for a job to go to Switzerland as well and where i'm from there simply is no way of finding anything if you don't have someone to vouch for you or push you through towards a company i have French nationality yet i've never used it and i would take pretty much any job to start living in Switzerland, saw a lot of jobs that offer apartments and what not, how legit is it all that's what i always wonder😅 Any help or tip will be appreciated.

What about starting a business or freelancing? If you haven't done it already. Particularly IT making websites for people for instance.

Hello, I am just wondering how easy to find a job as Accountant. I have 10 years experience but I am unemployment since a few months. I was working in Luxemburg but I lost my job. I have done 2 masters and acca exams and I speak 4 languages including in German. How long does it take to find a job. I am applying from LinkedIn and other tools. I am EU citizen.

This blond woman who was laughing so much about her waiting job reminds me so much to myself 😂 I got into 4 different waiting jobs without a cv. I just asked at the places i liked and got the jobs. They seem to need almost as many waiters as medical staff. Specially bcs gastro is very tough and staff don’t last long, i think 😂 then they complain that their staff is not consistent and that they struggle. Lots of drugs in this sector It’s pretty disgusting at times.
