My machine was letting some water in, but never enough to see any in the bottom of the drum, and did not flow any water into the main drawer compartment to wash away the detergent powder. So I replaced the inlet valve as per your excellent instructions. (I'd not put my tools on the concrete block though, being clumsy, my pliers would end up inside the machine 😬) It works again! A satisfying click and whoosh of water now, before it was a bit feeble. Thanks so much for posting this you have saved me much money, just calling an engineer out to *look* was going to be $200 before parts, but fully booked for weeks. Peace, PD.

My AEG machine had the same error. Turned out there were 2 sieves mounted on top of eachother…… water flow was just too low apparently. Thans for useful video!

The hot water supply had frozen. When it thawed everything's right as rain. Knowing the e10 code pertains to a water input level or lack there of gives the right place to start checking. Thank you.

A great video, easy to follow. Our washing machine is a similar model Electrolux EWF14023 10kg. It has error code E90. The child lock is stuck on and it keeps beeping with a flashing light above the Start/Pause button. Any ideas?

Hello, Can you help me what’s wrong for my washing machine, please? It’s 2 in 1 washing machine. Sometimes, Main wash has water fill in, but rinse isn’t. And sometimes main wash is no water fill in too, when it washing will stop and ask check the tap, sometimes will stop and I need click start/pause button to continue the process. I was checked in & out filters is no sand. And the other function is fine. 🙏🏻

Hi, my machine starts the wash ok, goes through the cycles, drains the water and then when it gets to the rinse part, it (when using the “Mixed” wash setting) hangs on 38 minutes for about 5 minutes and then displays the E10 error. It also does the same thing on any wash cycle when it gets to the rinse part… I then have to hit the start/play button again and it’ll hang on 38 minutes again for another 5 minutes then display E10 error again. The I hit the start/play button again and it will start filling up with water to start the rinse cycle and then completes the rest of the wash ok…. I have cleaned out the drain plug, I have checked the pipe on the water level sensor and the filter on the intake is clean. would you have any idea what the issue might be?

How are these Electrolux machines - good or bad? Are they the same as the Westinghouse machines which are much cheaper? Are the drums sealed or repairable? Appreciate any insight you provide!

Drums are sealed and not repairable. They get some issues with electronics at times. If you get one get it with extended warranty

That's a super video and explanation. I have a Prima PRLD370 fitted washing machine that was installed 3 month ago. It's been intermittently returning an E10 error mostly towards the end of the washing machine cycle. Sometimes it goes through the cycle without issue. I can see water in the drum and the fact it is brand new doesn't appear to be any dirt on the valve or a kink in the piping. Do you have any thoughts where the issue might be based as it seems to be returning the error towards the cycle's end?

@@majkoden Hello, yes the problem was fixed. I got Prima to come out and they cleaned the inlet hose filter and then checked the drain hose and it's piping. The drain hose wasn't properly attached so he clamped it correctly as per the instructions. Since then the E10 error has gone away. Hope that helps you.

I have E10 error. When starting a cycle, when water usually flows into the machine, it sounds different and not much water fills machine during wash. Can sometimes continue wash cycle by resuming. I found that the prewash and rinse compartment in tray is not emptied/has water. Is this still a water inlet valve issue?

Replaced the inlet valve/solenoid and washing machine is fixed! Thank you for this video. Saved buy a new machine or getting someone else to look at it and get overcharged!

O tempo de ciclo da minha máquina aumentou. Por exemplo, se bo ciclo dia a dia ela demorava 1h para finalizar a lavagem agora fica 1h15min. No ciclo que usava sempre era 1h55min agora fica 2h12min, está relacionado a isso? Durante a lavagem o ciclo ficava parado em e10. Removi a válvula conforme ensinou no video e testei direto na torneira, realmente a agua não passa, oarece areia. Preciso trocar a válvula então?

For me it was a seized inlet valve. I also had an E10 error but the machine would spin, and drain etc. Inlet valve was cheap to buy on eBay and easy to fit with help from KZbin :)

Hi it’s likely your water is not going into the washer. Check that tap is open. Also check for dirt buildup on the water valve

E10 before spin cycle keep coming, its annoying, already check water pressure and water inlet is good, the error should come up during washing where water comes in not during spin cycle

It comes mid washcycle for me. On clearing the error I can get some water spray in the drawer but it's a bit weaker than normal.
