TLDR, Valatino sees lust as a means to make money. Asmodeus sees lust as a statement of expression. Regardless, it is interesting that out of all the Sins, Asmodeus is the only one who doesn't discriminate between any of the hellborn. If you're loose then you're okay in his book. He seems to be the only one not in it for the money.

Notes about Asmodeus to know: -according to the stories, asmodeus was actually considered just and (relatively?) noble. He once saved a blind man and saved a drunk from falling. According to the tail the blind man was considered rightful under the lord and so Asmodeus gave him good fortune. Mean while the drunk was considered wvil under the lord but Asmodeus foresaw him committing a good act in the future and so kept him from falling as a reward - Asmodeus does not dispise love, it simply gets in the way of his work. Asmodeus actually cried at a wedding and when asked why it was because their love was true but the groom was destined to die and leave his wife a devastated widow. To some that would seem the perfect opportunity for lust to do it’s thing but he was so distraught about love being lost he cried and didn’t even think about doing that. -Asmodeus was welcome in the schools of heaven. It was said asmodeus had immense intellect because there wasn’t a single school in all the realms that would reject him. He would go to school in hell, then study on earth, then go to school in heaven all before returning to sleep in the mountain God ordained he sleep in every night. -He was considered so true in following the lords word that he refused to drink alcohol even after someone replaced all the water in the wells around which he slept with straight wine. He went without water for SEVERAL WEEKS. Before finally caving in and drinking the wine in absolute desperation. -dude has done some evil things in his time, like kill the fiancés of a young girl and also he took over a guys kingdom after kicking him so hard he flew all the way to Egypt. But he felt so guilty about the second one that when the guy came back he ran away. -they got him to stop killing fiancés by… *checks hand* cooking smelly fish? Anyway the idea is Asmodeus was actually the kind of demon people would typically make him out to be. He was considered decent enough for heaven to let him in to get his degree in inhumanities and as long as you have some fish (and/or a crotch cap and a parachute) he’s pretty chill.

Because Valentino isn't about lust. He is about dominance and control. He is just exploiting loneliness and addictive behavior to trap people. The way he abuses Angel and how his goal is not the spread of lust but of his business is proof of this. Asmodeus wants people to be lustful. He wants people to desire things to a near, or even, obsessive level. But he isn't about controlling what form said lust takes place so long as they are indeed lustful. It is a fundamental difference in motivations that reflect how Asmodeus is truly about the sin of lust while Valentino is in the ring of Pride for a very good reason.

It's not just about sex, it's about enjoyment. Valentino, on the other hand, doesn't really care about lust, he just cares about the act of sex and he'll follow through with it regardless of the damage he causes. It's not just about the actions for Asmodeus, it's the craving for it, the act and then the innevitable emotional consequences of those actions. Valentino just wants to indulge in his own power trip though, and he doesn't care if the other person wants him or not. It why Asmodeus gets such delight from seeing Blitz and Stolas together even though they weren't banging- It wasn't just about the act of banging, it was about the willingness to throw everything else away for the sake of it.

I've had this theory since almost a week after House of Asmodeus came out: Ozzie would have existed a long time before Valentino died and went to hell, and Val would have only been able to hear about Ozzie through other demons since sinners can't leave the pride ring. So, when he heard about the embodiment of Lust, he adopted some of Ozzie's aesthetics: The smoke manipulation, the fuzz on his coat to imitate Ozzie's fluff, and the black white, and red colors of his outfit. In conclusion: Valentino ripped off Ozzie in an attempt to give himself legitimacy but ended up looking like a desperate poser as a result.

This video makes me think of The Sandman's sibling Desire. Asmodeus is a wicked demon who encourages a form of freedom that people can get behind. Desire is not wrong, but the insane links one goes to fulfill them can lead to problems. Ozzie wants people to embrace freedom and have satisfaction guaranteed. While Valentino, on the other hand, operates like Desire of the Endless. In Niel Gaiman's books, Desire pursues whatever endeavor they want regardless of whether it brings them satisfaction or not. Let's start and end with the fact that Ozzie is the actual Personification of Lust; while Velentino is an Overlord, who simply made the Lust his image. Therefor Ozzie represents the true Lust and its real meaning and everything that comes with it (aka freedom, desire, and true feelings). While Valentino represents "Lust" - as in, what a typical Sinner would think about, when they hear that word (aka addictions, self-imprisonment, etc). I mean, it depends. I think Alastor could take out Stolas- We've seen Alastor take out far larger and far more durable targets than Stolas's demon form with a single spell. Like, Valentino could arguably take out Asmodeus too. Valentino might have the sin of lust, but if the Addicted music video is anything to go by he could potentially have control over some narcotics too. So if that is canon, and Valentino used that against Asmodeus, it could result in causing enough confusion for him to get the upper hand on Asmodeus. Though, Asmodeus is like 20ft chad, so I'm not too sure how much harm Valentino could do against Asmodeus.

Asmodeus from the looks of it has class, style, and even though he's mean you can tell he's got a heart under all of that(mostly seen towards fizz). In some cases he reminds me of a Disney villain. I think that with Ozzie, age and living immortal longer than Valentino might also be part of why they approach lust differently. Ozzie in ancient times was probably super exploitive for his time back in the day, but it was a time period of a different kind of exploitation as there is today (though that's not to say that some of those things don't still exist today, because they do it's just a lesser amount or there's people less aware of it around). As the centuries went on, Ozzie's priorities probably changed as what happens when a lot of people get older and he probably had to find ways to adapt and process an environment that is constantly changing around him (same with the other immortal Princes and some of the Ars Goetia), so he focuses more on the experiences of lust, while Valentino focuses on the modernized outlook on lust as an exploitative profit.

Asmodeus if he met Val, would likely just obliterate him. Asmodeus hides behind a facade of hating love, but when he explains to Stolas about how he doesn't do love potions, because 'lust should be earned', it makes it very clear that he doesn't support SA and is very pro-consent. If Asmodeus found out how Val treats his workers, I can imagine that Val would be tortured and killed.

Well I think Asmodeus (aka) Ozzie will win the fight against Val because of his higher rank. I think Ozzie's form of lust is more free and unique. Ozzie's form of lust is more about having a good time, honestly I think Ozzie's form of lust is not very sinful, it just depends. Now on to Val's form of lust. Val's form of lust is very sinful and addicting, Val's form of lust is more about addiction than lust itself.

So, I haven't seen anyone mention this yet but has anyone payed attention to the differences between how they treat their employees? Valentino is all about control and addiction and has only worsened Angel Dust's addiction to multiple things. Not only that, but he s**ually assaulted Angel which only added on to his issues. I'm also pretty sure that Val knows and loves his power over Angel. He's all about fear, control, and profit. But then you have Asmodeus. Asmodeus and Fizzarolli seem to have a close relationship. Not only are they both comfortable performing with each other, but they seem to genuinely care for one another. For example, when Millie knocked out Fizz, Ozy seemed incredibly worried about him. He even went as far as to gently pick him up and continue to carry him for the remainder of the episode. (We don't get the see anyone at Ozzy's after M & M get kicked out which is why I said the remainder of the episode) Not only does this seem to fit with how they perceive and use Lust, but it adds on to the differences between the two. Ozy may be the literal embodiment of Lust, but with that comes the freedom of living the life you want to live. Meanwhile Val is about control and addiction. He wants people to become addicted to adult film, he wants people to abuse and control. Also there is absolutely no way that Val could genuinely have anything against Asmodeus. Ozy is a literal Prince of Hell and is significantly more powerful than Val with ever be. Val may think he's all high and mighty but he's only a sinner. Is he technically an overlord? Yes. But is Ozy more powerful in title and strength? Also yes.

I think the ideologies are that Asmodeus belives in lust that has feeling and substance not just the lust to have lust, while Valentino belives in forceful lust, like a adult film in which the actors don't actually like each other they just do it to make a profit or to feel good, so Val belives in what most people would call complete lust, offering a good time without any feeling, while Ozzie belives in the more emotional part in lust judged completely by what he says in s2 ep6

I think in Asmodeus side of lust, in his song he's all about expressing your wants and desire, he's the type of lust that would like to spread it, persuade people to give in to their desires, like let them have fun and do what they really want, what their deep desires wants and he's digging in that vibe. And loving that demons in his club are into the action of lust like boutta hop on top of each other lol While valentino, its just about him, what he desires and wants to do, thus r*ping forcing angel into getting it on with him. Val seems to be a centered character, in the song "addicted" he's all about having fun for himself, having sexual friends to ride with him in his limo and have s*x in there with angel while driving around hell, he does have his club but i dont think it was his? Like being said earlier he's mostly out in his limo so i think that lust club is just somewhat val invested into and spends time there to watch some strips and get turned on. I think angel just works there and then this guest suddenly appeared and that's val its like that in some sort of way in my mind. The way that I see it is that Asmodeus is the embodiment of MUTUAL lust, whereas Valentino is the embodiment of one-sided or SELFISH lust. Asmodeus benefits more from multiple people partaking in lustful actions but Val benefits more from people being isolated in their lustful desires.

It's actually really simple. Asmodeus is into lust itself. Valentino represents lust as an expression of pride and narcissistic behavior, seemingly like all overlords or even all sinners or all pride ring inhabitants-their sins can be called expressions of pride. Hell, you can even say Charlie might represent pride as a positive trait-shes pride as a drive to strive to better yourself and others.

Despite it being the opposite i think Val looks a lot more like the Embodiment of Lust while Ozzie looks like a relatively normal person that simply has lust related powers (i know it's the exact opposite). Everything about Val just Oozes Lust. Including the Fact Val himself Oozes Love pheromones. His design,the fact he's surrounded by at least one of his lovers/side chicks at every scene. Most of his lines are related to sex. His clothes are literally his wings. Angel also has an entire song about how he can't resist Val and his antics even though he knows they're bad for him, Poison is a Hymn to Lust. Porn is also part of Lust same for being Jealous and Possessive (especially while you're not loyal yourself). While negative parts of lust they're still parts of Lust.

I’m excited to see another one of the Goetic demons that we haven’t seen or heard of yet, that one beinf Eligos/Abigor/Eligor. He is depicted often as a very loyal pretty good knight-type thst isn’t as evil or conniving as various other goetic demons and being the rank of Great Duke would put him between Paimon and Stolas. Depicted as a knight riding a sometimes winged steed gifted to him by Beelzebub thst could actually be an interesting thing to factor into the plot as it implies a relationship of respect between the two. Knows the outcomes of wars as well and knows about how soldiers should be treated, which is kinda based for a demon. Since they would be a goetia in Helluva Boss it’d be interesting to see how they’d mesh Knight and Avian themes. I also thing Asmodeus’ goals are based as a very freaky person myself.

Asmodeus would at best see Valentino as a talentless hack and at worse as a scourge tainting the very concept of his sin. Asmodeus is the finely crafted designer goods and Valentino is the knockoff. It's a good analysis, but it's unlikely that we'll ever see the two characters interact or even mention each other. Asmodeus is a Helluva Boss character, owned by SpindleHorse. Valentino is a Hazbin Hotel character, now owned either largely or completely by A24. They can't cross over without a lot of expensive legal wrangling. It wouldn't be worth the hassle or the cost. In fact, it might have been a cameo of an HH character that killed the 8th episode of HB, although we don't know because Vivzie can't talk about it.
