Laurel did a lot of heavy lifting at the end. I don’t know if he realizes. Holy sword is also way better than people realize. Issue is you need to use duplicator to make it good. Without bonus amount, it’s pretty bad. It benefits from amount bonuses more than any other weapon other than maybe whip.

Yo @Asmongold TV, to the twitch comments that say "no card buffs garlic" -- Soul Eater (Evolved Garlic) has a chance to drop hearts for health and there is a card that allows you to do damage when you heal from chickens, evolved whip, pumarolla (the red heart to upgrades garlic), and the hearts that drop from Soul Eater. Any healing is also doubled, so more more damage plus survivability. The build I've been running is: Try to start garlic (easy quick clear more exp over time), I like to grab crown, attractorb, and Skull O'Maniac as early as possible. More mobs more xp faster lvls. I get the Tuphello and Sparrow early or the Peachone and Ebony Wings early. I get these early so the quick garlic lvls can go into them. At 10 mins you can get your first upgrade. For the first upgrade it depends on my luck for the run. For the Phieraggi upgrade you'll also need to pick up Tiragisu, which you don't need after. You can pick it up upgrade Phieraggi (Tuphello and Sparrow evolution) and then die to get rid of Tiragisu and open the slot (you can get 3 revives from one of the cards and a 4th from spending coins on the main menu, you shouldn't need any but in case you do.. you don't want to get the card until you die and lose Tiragisu or you'll have to burn all your deaths to get rid of it.) When either Phieraggi or Vandalier upgrades, then I go for the other one. Depending on luck I'll do this or try to pick up song of mana, and bible or axe. Song of mana explains itself. It's just good and helps to create your domain for the last 2 mins. Bible is good and constant, but I like the push back from death scythe plus Candelabrador to maximize the domain of song of mana and garlic. Items so far in relative order: Active: Garlic, Tuphello and Sparrow or Peachone and Ebony Wings (if you can get them all here, then it makes timing items less stressful), Song of Mana, Axe or Bible, and last item is Pentagram. Passive: Crown, Attractorb, Skull O'Maniac, Tiragisu (drop after upgrade Phieraggi), Pummarola, and Spellbinder or Candelabrador. After you get all these passives and drop one, you have room for an extra passive. I like to get the 50% damage buff from Spinach or added survivability from armor. I tend to go with Spinach. Once you get all your passives at this point you'll want to look at the map and pick up any bonus items. As you play try to make your way close to at least one of them, so you can pick it up as soon as possible.

The pulsing damage you see at the beginning is the arcane heal card doing it's damage area on heal effect. As an aside, upgraded whip is a healing beast withe the double heal arcane card. Upgraded axe is top tier with the arcane card for crit on it. But, like I said on the other video.. garlic is a top tier skill and more than doubles in usefulness when upgraded. Especially with the heal card arcane. Lightning ring with duplicator is a crowd control monster. Pentagram upgraded can be basically a healing potion every time it goes off when fully upgraded since you can choose a double heal power chicken every levelup. Heart adds maximum health. It does not refill your current health. Hence missing heal when you pick it.

I love this game. I really hope you stay for the whole journey. I somehow found it on release and have been amazed how fun it is, when I found out about who makes it or how the updates have been I have been hooked. I'm 100% achievements, not *every character and over 200 hours. This is a real game. No fancy graphics, no real story (for now), and just basic gameplay. Vampire Survivors is in my top 5 games or all time.

I'm so grateful for the comments on the previous video, it awakened my third eye and now understand how much of a detriment garlic is. Guys of you want to make it to 30 mins pretty much everytime garlic ain't it. Garlic is just an early game crutch that is basically useless late game and doesn't synergies well with any other upgrade. My current win all build is Moraccio (The skeleton dude) and I build all projectile weapons; Bone, both wands, runetracer, ring (duplicator is a must for projectile spamming), and your 6 weapon could almost be anything aside from garlic. I've won with Laurel as my 6th weapon which fully maxed is a solid 3 seconds of straight invulnerability. Or Ive gotten axe for my last item. However recently I unlocked the guns and I will be using that as my go to 6th item. Tldr; Garlic bad, use both wands, bone, both guns, Lring, runetracer. The synergy is bonkers.

People are saying garlic sucks because the damage drops off at later levels, but that's min max bs, it ALWAYS does pushback which for mobs stays good until 30 minutes. It pulls the reaper into you, though. So for general runs, garlic makes everything more tasty. Edit: And all characters are good, but some are better or worse based on their passive.

Garlic reduces knockback resistance of enemies which makes surviving muuch easier so the low dps isnt as big of a deal, it destroys projectiles and makes early game really easy. Also its evolution is bad so u get additional free choice passive i dont know why people keep saying garlic is bad.

If you get clover and crown early and level them you can speed up the pentagram leveling process which gives you a free win, core build is Cross, clover, crown, pentagram, leveling clover and crown until you get penta and all in the penta and GG

Pick the +EXP character and then go for Garlic > Bible > Spinach > Empty Tome > Duplicator and upgrade in the same order then upgrade Lightning > Bird/Both birds. This is literally all you need to beat any and every level even on Hyper. Now for the other 4 upgrades you can pick literally whatever you want. I usually go for Candle > Crown > Spellbinder and then whatever else upgrade I feel like is good for that level. It took me an hour of playing to figure out this is one of the best builds and I finished the entire game in one evening. You would not believe how much faster you get to full upgrades with the EXP character + x5 EXP talent + Crown upgrade. You can max upgrades pre 15-20min and then just spam gold bags and earn thousands of gold before the 30min mark.

If he would stand still an not pick up gems eventually he would reach gem cap on the screen and all the monsters that die following that would have their EXP combined into a red gem, infinitely, until he begins to pick up gems again. Picking up that red gem would give him ALL that EXP in one big chunk. It's a faster way of leveling up then running around and picking up blue gems.

Your goal should be to kill death at the end he is the best character. Starts with the death spiral evolved axe. Plus he has the highest move speed. Otherwise krochi is great cause of his 2 revives unless you pick up the buffs and it can go to 5. Poppea is like 3rd best imo. For projectiles you need the speed increase especially for cross.

how to beat it then? max out build with as many revivals as possible? or move speed max out? not sure if death can always catch you?
