This brought back so many fond memories, I used to always show people these areas in classic WoW because I loved seeing how amazed they were. My favorite place is the smiley happy face under Karazhan, in TBC I used to glitch under the stairs to the entrance and I could stop this horde ganking guild everyone hated from opening the entrance with their key and starting their raid - I could attack them but they couldn't attack me, muahaha.

@@williams2187 Yes this. I did this on live in BC I think. I remember you could get to the shore and there would just be like a little dock and a hut. That would be an OG spot to setup the arena tournaments if people did make them. Very far out of the way and hard to get to. (you can get there when you are not exploiting, you just would never know it was there)

If any of you have thought: "I want to move a low level Human, Dwarf or Gnome to Teldrassil in Classic", then get under SW, run to the second to last pass; the one roughly in North East,, then jump in the sea. Swim north to Menethil Harbour; near the harbour, stay out near the fatigue limit, then you can make it there as level 1 or 2 without dying.

This warms my hearth. Being a mage in vanilla and knowing how to go under SW, i can confirm that the hole did get you to portal room. Most people don't know about this, because on private server you start falling, die, and ress at graveyard. True Vanilla is back!!!

Used to do this all the time in Classic. There’s much more you can do. Jumping into the Stormwind bank behind the tellers. Wall jumping up on top of Grim Batol. Getting into all of the unused zones that are barren. Under the deadmines, the old Emerald Dream zone and GM island etc.

The best glitch of all time. Had a mage friend who managed to get to the DK starting area in wotlk. I had just missed it myself (a very long procedure) that and dropping into thralls room from the mountains with Alliance raid. Horde had no chance see it coming.

Why don’t all of these developers just add a kill box under their maps? Just keep some space between the kill box and the ground so that your model clipping through doesn’t get you killed. If someone does glitch through the map, they fall for 1 or 2 seconds and then die. No exploiting. No infinite falling. Plain and simple. Would take only an hour if that.

People have been doing that forever now, Usually Horde would use it to get on top of the auction house and kill the auctioneers and players, I love finding ways to glitch out but its a bit risky...Used to go underneath Wintergrasp back in Wotlk and use eyes of the beast to kill horde but then I got reported even though everyone was doing it and Horde knew how to get down there and we would fight fair anyways

Be careful when exploring outside of maps, I got out of Naxxramus and multiple other dungeons and raids with my dh. If you see somewhere you can fall into a void DO NOT jump in. Chances are you'll be dc'd after a few seconds, even if you relog you'll be instantly dc'd, you could easily lose a character doing this.

I think at blizzcon, Blizzard said that a lot of bugs would stay in the game. They even specifically mentioned going under SW. Bugs like in WSG i think will be patched because it affects others and is a true exploit. I'm curious how they will handle places like GM island though

you jump through the hole and end up in the mages tower, when i did it i fell for 3 hours untill i unded up swiming under the ocean at the north end of the map. i could not leave untill i was under water to swim and hearthstone back. fun fact the ocean goes down infinitely...

Asmon selling auctions made me realize that's an easy way to him to make gold (besides getting the gold "asmongolded" to him). Like if he sells an auction at an exorbitant price, people will still probably buy it because he's the one selling it. He could craft items which have the tag on them and sell them for 1k gold each and people would buy them for his name on the item lol.

I did this shit all the time back in late vanilla/bc... one of my favorite activity. Im so glad they keept this glitch since it is an iconic part of the game. And no this do not get you banned. These "glitches" are my favorite part of the game tbh. Going around and exploring and being places you are not supposed to be like wall jumping and glitching through floors are really fun. Another thing you can do is mount up right where you jump down below stormwind on that door frame. I forgot where it takes you but im pretty sure if u mount up and jump you get above stormwind keep. But maybe you cant do that in vanilla since you need a large mount.

As far as I know during retail you could only get into the emerald dream using something similar to a model swapper. So when you enter an instance instead of loading the game files for lets say DM it would load the files for the dream. Was completly empty though
