this time it's Vicarious vision's work and I trust them, they did an amazing job working on the Destiny franchise up until Forsaken and they did wonderfully, and from the looks of it they are doing well with this remaster too, but of course pre-ordering should never be a thing in the first place so wait until the full game is actually released.

Wc3 Reforged will be a blessing for us Diablo fans since it probably scared blizzard so much they NEED D2 Resurrected to be perfect. If it is I'll thank the WC3 community for their sacrifice since D2 is my all time favourite game.

In my opinion D2 is the only game that managed to make the necromancer feel like a real necromancer. Commanding 40+ skeletons, golem and other summons is just crazy. D3 is not even close and that one you even had to pay extra to unlock (riddicolous).

um the necro in diablo 3 was in an expation called reaper of souls. you also had to pay extra for new classes in diablo 2 by getting the expation lord of destruction.

@@oldschooldiablo169 They added the necromancer as it's own separate paid content in D3 later on ($14.99 I think?). The only new class on launch of RoS was the Crusader. The two classes with LoD weren't both sold separate of the expansion itself.

I grew up playing diablo 2 with all my friends. I remember when it just came out after a while of me minmaxing my diablo 1 characters. Every day for years. I would play diablo 2 online all day. With my family too, My mother, father, aunts and uncles. EVERYONE i knew was a huge diablo 2 Fan. And seeing this come back is just glorious. Also, just a small comment, i've seen diablo 3 graphics and it seems kinda shit.

Man I hope he plays Resurrected even off stream. Perfect loot based ARPG. I played religiously from 1.05-1.11 and played off and on from 1.12-1.14D. Thousands of hours poured into this game. Running a character from Act 1 normal to beating Act 5 on Hell on single player is an essential gaming experience akin to playing through the first Dark Souls.

Maybe the color of the paladin's skin is not that obvious when choosing a character, but considering that in act 3 you travel through the jungle to reach the paladin's headquarters, it should come as no surprise that they have a dark skin color;)

19:58 flash back to my head when entering the village of Tristram in Diablo 1. I remember when encountering Butcher in Church 2nd floor and accidentally opening the doors and says "FRESH MEAT" in full speaker volume in my dads room makes me run so fast and never came back. the most fun i had with diablo 2, was going into it for the first time ever, like 3 or so months ago, and i choose the templar and i decided that i wanted to just Spec everything into lightning damage and it turned out so fucking cool, i had a two handed sword that delt a shit ton of lightning damage and i had lighting all around my character and shit. u dont get stuff like that in diablo 3. i like diablo 2 because u actually have creative freedom with your character, wears diablo 3 u have to follow a meta or nobody will want to play with you.

It was a very good remaster. The fact that they didn't do much besides update the art exactly why it was a good remaster. You don't mess with a winning formula. Don't fix what isn't broke. The whole market for people buying a remaster or people who have nostalgia for the game. Of course they hate it if you make drastic changes that take the tone away from the original.

I reinstalled original D2 and used a software that improved it's resolution. Not as pretty as the remaster, but at least I don't have to deal with all the bs and don't have to spend extra money. Big disagree on things being different today though. IfI want to play solo, I shouldn't, under any circumstance, have to rely on blizzurd's online servers. That's just not acceptable. There's just no good reason for it. You play solo, you're offline, period.

basic now , they werent basic then. Even resident evil 1 migth be basic now, but that stagnant picturesque aesthetic of the original games, were amazing backthen. Its what made Final Fantasy 7 epic also. That static realistic pictures with 3D models running along it.
