@PowerofRock245 ай бұрын
@@doggnamedchip It's much more difficult for a variety of reasons. The disappearance of 3rd spaces, the lack of shared community values, the proliferation of different sub-communities (mostly online) pigeonholing people, the abundance of prawnographic content. the illusion of more choice due an interconnected digital culture, uncertain future prospects in politics and economics, and the fake Instagram culture of airbrushed models and materialistic luxury lifestyles. Everyone feels entitled to a certain lifestyle because we're expose to it daily through advertising and social media 'influencers'. To be fair, There is an actual "incel" sort of mindset that originated from the incel forums that you can see replicated in other people regardless if they're incel or not. The expectation that women are to always be subservient to men, belief in TRAD values to the point of toxicity. controlling their wives and treating them like lesser beings. Massive double standards when it comes to hygiene and personal care like working out and staying fit. The guy who divorced his wife because she breast fed their second child and his ego took it as there being another man he was competing with his wife for. People using words wrong does not mean it has lost all meaning, It means people are commonly using the word wrong. It can slowly shift to mean something else then it originally meant. Gay used to mean Happy. Gaslighting does not mean "lying" to someone, it's manipulating them through lies to the point they question their own memories of events and believe your lies instead while actually going insane. People using words wrong as they become popular is people using the words wrong. You see someone use it wrong and you can write it off. If someone calls you an incel because you don't want your girlfriend to sell nude photos then they're a fucking idiot. You can have personal preferences that doesn't make you a biggot. If you think all women who sell nude photos are less then human and don't deserve to be treated fairly then you're an incel.

Me too. I left a relationship where the girl would hit me (I have a broken spine so I couldn't really fight back). Got pushed into a relationship by a new girl who ghosted me after she constantly begged to come over and do stuff for months. She lied behind my back because her commie ex-bf guilt tripped her. I never knew about any of this until I got attacked and banned from everywhere I worked (I used to host events). Lost all my friends, career, and everything I ever worked for. She's since apologized and admitted to lying and creating the rumor, and that she regrets it but I've cut everybody off since then and don't trust anybody getting close to me anymore. So I see divorced men as kindred spirits but it's shocking how common it is that men lose everything because a woman decides so on a whim or to dodge accountability.

It's like trying to have a conversation with someone who only knows to clap back with "BELIEVE ALL WOMEN!" when the point of the discussion was about guys wanting to have standards of their own. What part of not wanting to deal with miserable women implies that the guy just wants the girl to sit around looking pretty? What part of wanting a high quality woman implies looking at woman like they're just trophies to be collected? By your logic, any single woman that is looking for a guy that's a catch only sees the guys as trophies. You're right that past community structures were often oppressive, but we need to ask why they were like that. Today, people often avoid accountability, blaming others instead. Past community structures often enforced accountability, which is why they seemed oppressive; individuals had to answer to the community. These structures acted as social authorities. Once we removed that authority, we lost accountability. We traded social freedom for a lack of structure, so we shouldn't be surprised by today's lack of accountability among individuals.

Is anyone surprised by the math that shows this, or is it just me? If men and women are represented in roughly equal proportions in all age groups, and one half is increasingly losing relationships, that means that either the other half MUST also be experiencing loneliness in equal proportions, or some men are keeping a harem, meaning they have lots of women at work at the same time. This also answers the question of who or what a chad/tyrone is. If I had to guess, I'd say it all takes place between the ages of 18 and 30. Chad and Tyrone have fun with lots of girls, while the girls all ride the same cucumber carousel together.

Young women want older men, so young adult men lose with adult men. A lot of guys in their 20s are silly (not that there's something wrong with it, but I'd prefer someone more serious). Of course there are some exceptions from this rule (my fiancee is 6 years younger), but most of men I met that were the same age or sligthtly younger were just not at the same stage of life and maturity. And when it comes to a bit older women that are alone - if you have a failed marriage and a small child you want to be careful with who you date. My mom stayed single for years after my father cheated on her, because of safety precautions (more precisely a new partner that could potentially harm or molest a small child). Elderly women are indeed lonely, because men statistically live shorter and their older husbands pass away quicker than them.

@@iga1720 "Older women are actually lonely because men statistically live shorter lives and their older husbands die faster than they do." Come on... that's nonsense. The difference is about 1-2 years. And secondly, it doesn't explain anything at all, because the age group we're looking at here is between 18-30. So if we ask ourselves what's going on with the female part of this age group, if the boys in the same age group are all single and we assume at the same time that the same is not the case for the girls to the same extent, then they must either all share a few men or experience loneliness themselves. There is literally no other explanation. And now take another look at your answer to my first comment and ask yourself whether anything explains it or makes sense. I particularly like the thing about dying earlier because it's so wonderfully coincidental and completely off topic. So, of course I'm not just writing this and I've done a bit of research. And guess what... "It's estimated that 45% of women ages 25-44 will be single by 2030, according to a study by Morgan Stanley." That should be very interesting in the future. While boys lose out between 18 and 30, the whole thing turns around at around 30. Most boys will probably have everything together by then. The problem will then be that these boys can choose what they do from then on, even if they don't do it until they're 35 or 40. It doesn't matter whether they're American woman or from somewhere else, because they remain fertile until old age. For a 30-40 year old woman, on the other hand, everything will be a complete nightmare if she hasn't managed to get married and have children by then, if that's her wish. A social time bomb is rolling towards society. Maybe I should invest in companies that produce cat food, because it looks like the future of female loneliness will also usher in the age of cats.🤔

@@doggnamedchipyou're spot on with that. The concept of online dating was actually created by men based on the way men think. Women have been dropping off the apps in recent yrs partly because the process caters to men yet does nothing for women. Many want to complain about "women only want the triple-6", but you also have to consider how social media pushed the "high value standard" in recent yrs. So you njw have a combo of pushing ppl towards shallow primary decision-making & social media brainwashing telling both men & women "this is what is required." Then you have an added layer of "online dating is the only way. You'll never be good enough though." That drives male insecurity, increasing social avoidance which then adds to their insecurity & anxiety making men more hyper-reliant on apps. App user data shows that the M:F user ratio is now at 4:1 on average. Can't get matches without women to match with, right? Reality is apps don't need both genders to be successful. They just need active profiles. By keeping men stuck in the cycle of hyper-reliance, companies stay making profits on a broken system.

What a lot of people don't understand is that the marriage/relationship discourse was tainted before the social media and corn. Divorces were going up in the 80's and 90's and it's just accelerating. The answer goes way deeper, it's too uncomfortable for most people, and requires a massive reduction in the privileges women enjoy today, so this won't be solved. People are going to have to adapt. Single and even sexless is going to be the norm. Even Morgan Stanley projects 45% of women aged 25 - 44 will be single and childless by 2030. It is what it is. I thought Incel described a person who is not only involuntarily celibate but also, inhibit traits of bitterness, dumb unrealistic standards and, self-destructive behaviors stemming from the inability to attract a Man or Woman. Now days, people will scream Incel mainly at men who seem like they are single but desperate online. Incels also share the similarities of victims of pro-longed bullying. People resorting to mocking and insulting Incels because they're Incels will only give Incels more excuses to be bitter and deranged in their minds. How people respond to it by jumping to conclusions only make it worse.

Self-destructive behaviors = not worshipping women and acting as their personal jester to please them. Now all of these things make you a lncel.

What really makes a relationship expensive is really according to the person we pick. This is where socio-economic status would matter in a way that lower classes couldn't really date a man/woman higher. It sounded harsh, but realistically speaking we can really convince someone who've been on higher status to live a lifestyle that isn't what they grew up to unless it is something they're wholeheartedly and prepared to do so. But this also means it will be more expensive when someone is already too accustomed living a luxurious life. When it comes to relationships, what is important as well is to find someone that suits your lifestyle since it will also play an important part eventually in marriage where a lot of people divorce because of money or lifestyle issues. Obviously if you value saving money for the rainy days, you can't date someone who overindulges with shopping. Everything else is all about finding the right person with the right intentions.

I’m a 20 year old dude and while I’ve definitely wanted a relationship I’m not upset that I’m not one. I believe that if I’m going to date someone they should be THE one. I don’t want to ruin my first relationship on someone that’s going to forget me the next morning or only wants me for something be it money, or to be a dummy to vent to. I want someone who is looking for exactly what I’m looking for, a life partner, not an accomplice.

As a gay man in his 40, the best advice is give to a straight young man is that If you want one night stands, go to bars and clubs. I’d even look at popular gay male clubs that are trendy because a lot of their friends who are straight girls will go with them. But if you want a wife get involved with your local churches or community centers. The youth groups and camps. You could volunteer or chaperone. But you will never ever win the lottery if you never buy a ticket! You can’t soar with the eagles if you’re flying with the buzzards. You have to go socialize and be around women to actually meet one! Not stay in your house all the time, not being on your phone all the time or on your computer or playing video games. Simple truth.

You're right but it's still a platitude. "If you want a relationship be that person who gets relationships." If you're depressed, have you tried not being depressed? If you want a university degree, be intelligent and offer scientifically relevant insights. yeah, right.

@@FalkFlak Fine, stay where you are. Don't change. Stay miserable.
@FalkFlak5 ай бұрын
I'm not miserable. But we could just say "If you want something, you need to work for it". That's really all it boils down to and has nothing to do with relationships. But what we WANT and don't want in our life is exceptionally hard to figure out. And then you have to decide if the time and energy to invest is really worth it. Do I really want to be an Astronaut or can I also live a happy life down here? These are the kind of decisions to be considered. And if it's not possible we have to accept it the way it is. You can't run a marathon in a wheelchair and that's ok. But don't assume everyone is the same. Trying to be like everyone else or let others tell you whom and how many persons you have to f*** is exactly the way to get miserable.
@Thedeepesttruth5 ай бұрын
@@FalkFlak I mean, yeah, I guess. But that doesn’t negate the validity of it. Their Platitudes for a reason. That is kinda like people who ask why you aren’t doing something that needs to get done so you tell them why, and they say it’s excuses!!…. Well, technically, yes! But you asked, and they are still part of the reason. The simple reality is we as a technological society with social media and a robust digital world have abandoned almost wholesale the real world of interaction and relations for a facsimile of one. For a fake and curated digital world that gives them all the ID feeding and instant gratification you could want. So people are more cut off and lonely then ever. Do you know why? Because nothing can replace the real natural version. People aren’t looking up from their phones, their not leaving their house, their not making new friends, and they are not actually engaging in real physical and verbal relationships with anyone. It’s all digital, and it’s become our Devil. It’s become a vice, an addiction, an impediment to normal functioning. So when this generation ask why they feel this way and why they do not have what previous generations have I tell them. It’s the simple fact that they are not doing a single thing to facilitate the things they need to be a functioning member of society and a relationship. Any relationship. If people barely talk and interact with real people they are gonna feel lonely and isolated. If you never go out to social places then you will never meet new people. Your new potential wives or girlfriends or even just regular friends are not gonna be found on Twitter or X, KZbin, Twitch, Netflix, or Instagram. They can only be found and the relations maintained out in the Real World, Living Real Life, Being around Real People. We all need to put down our phones and the internet and tough grass.

It is important to know your own mistakes and improve yourself. But also, know that there is still a lot gas lighting in the “you’re an incel” part. People can try and do so much and still not get anywhere and when they finally complain, they get handed that title when the other half doesn’t know how hard they tried or don’t know their story. So I think it goes both ways.

I just feel tired for dating. Women on dating apps are looking like an empty dolls. Literally 90% are listing "eating" and "sleeping" as their hobbies, with occasional "Disney" and "Travelling". I'm usually getting around 1-2 matches per day, but it feels so tedious - because hardly anyone makes an effort to initiate a dialog. I'm fine with less that average girls as long as they are intresting to talk it, but they have their own issues. Half a year dating with one of those and she bans me and vanishing from my life as long as I suggested sexual intimacy in very gentle way. And yea, improving myself sounds nice, but most of the times you don't even have a clue what to improve exactly. Getting a pair of pet rabbits feels way more socially fulfilling that all of that, best decision in my life.

Women are incredibly hypergamous, and you're not a top tier guy (at least in their eyes). It's harsh, but it's that simple. Top tier guys have a really easy time finding a relationship and their woman will be loyal because he's a top tier guy. As for the other 90% of guys, they're sort of screwed. They might have a brief relationship or fling here and there, but on the whole, my heart goes out to them.

Also, there's a fair amount of man hating going on in the news tbh. Saw a recent report about how young women and single women in general can't find a decent man because "there just aren't any out there." Lol what?! That's not a very constructive way to solve this issue, is it?
@TurboFist04 ай бұрын
It's actually kind of true tbh. Young women are outpacing young men in education, earnings, home ownership, etc. Young men are struggling mightily in our current society and no one seems to care because the perception is still that men have it easy.
@stopyouneedhelp61154 ай бұрын
@@TurboFist0 Other issue is there is a lot of truth to the concept women don't date down, so the more and more successful they become, the worse it will get. Even if we were completely equal in the things you listed, plenty would struggle. It would take a lot of social/cultural change to ever bridge that growing gap.
