Yes and no. Females have created incels by constantly rejecting these young males for seeking after older males/men for their resources. Social media just made them worst because now they're able to go after the 1% of men while still ignoring the young males who are around them everyday. And you're wrong about both having this "higher standards" for their partner. Men standards for a female is very simple. She must be in shape, submissive, feminine, and a helpmate. A woman standards are ridiculous and only belongs to the 1% of men. They want a man that is wealthy, tall, attractive, stable, have a home, tend to only her needs, she wants him to be emotionally, she wants him to protect her, she wants him to not work as much, and the list goes on. This is why arrange marriages were in place. Women do not know what they want.

Pretty much yeah, also the “pick yourself up by the bootstraps” comment above me lol, I’m honestly quite deep in this community and you begin to see patterns, like the bootstraps stuff, it gets a bit tiring but it’s fun I guess Anyways, Hypergamy is getting higher and humiliation rituals are too, from conservatives to communists, liberals to libertarians, even anti feminist groups all seem to blame men endlessly, for one reason or another, seemingly not seeing accountability is a thing when it comes to women This can be seen through most comments if you read between the lines, always saying… “well it’s not because you look bad u suck…. It’s just ur personality!!” And other stuff such as the “discord/Reddit mod” stereotype is meant to make a villain out of bad traits, and mixing them up to serve them accordingly, to one way or the other, this is true for the word “incel” as well, meaning “involuntarily celibate”, but now apparently just being a buzzword for anyone who dislikes women apparently

The words are pretty confusing, but the name “truecel” only applies to some, those who have had such crippling negative experiences that they seemingly can’t do anything in life, romantic opportunities are like water in a desert, abundant in hallucinations yet so so far away in reality, with Hypergamy, this just cranks up the heat to eleven, somehow they survive still even with such conditions, not being paid as much, instantly being associated with negative traits, being seen as unlovable yet endlessly mockable, and not even being seen as subhuman, for a Neanderthal would be treated better then them, these are the people I feel sympathy for the most, the disenfranchised by means out of their control, somehow still living in a space that doesn’t want them there, but is so in noticing of their existence that they linger around till the light is snuffed, I’ve honestly only seen sparse sympathy for incels, and even less understanding of them, and I’m sure snide comments are just another piece in the pile for them, and the pile is large

so there's parts throughout this where asmon (and many others) say things like "well the problem is doesn't know how to talk", "Maybe if he did this instead", yadda yadda yadda. The thing is that they may very HAVE BEEN normal before. But because they couldn't get a girl, they start questioning things, which is fine. Self reflecting is good. The problems start creeping up when after they've done some self-reflecting and try to improve on certain things they felt they were lacking... they still get rejected. Then they start noticing a lot of negatives going on that doesn't make sense to them. Like how the "bad boys" got the girl for example. They end up going down a different route in life since they put to much weight on being able to attract someone, and that's because of the very emphasis that society(_bottom text_) puts on it. Can't get a girlfriend? Something's wrong with you, and people like to have closure on stuff just so they can feel better without feeling super confused. A lot of these people start off completely normal (unless they're on the spectrum) and then become shattered versions of themselves. They lost the plot. They stop caring about what weird behaviour they have now because they fell into the thinking that nobody would want them anyway. I think this video highlights another issue which is the identity crisis that Discord is going through between deciding whether it wants to be a social media platform and heavily moderate its platform or whether it wants to be a VoiceCom application similar to Ventrilo back in the day. Ventrilo had no moderation, it was simple, easy to use, and straight to the point. Everyone there is awkward and it's great. Go find someone in that meet who is sitting alone or not really talking to someone and talk to them. It WONT be comfortable, you WILL feel nervous, even afraid. Do it anyway. I Hope I can serve as an example to show those feelings are 100% normal and expected. It's not a comfortable process at first at all. Use your awkwardness to keep a conversation....be like "oops here's the part where I don't know how to continue a conversation lm so sorry I'm awkward" and they will relate and you can keep a convo going that way. The etymology of the term incel is so completely fucked in popular culture. It mostly gets thrown around as an ad hominem attack or driveby insult, as a misandrist pejorative in echo chambers or as a general insult directed at misogynists. You also have people who aren't incels self identifying as incels, possibly they are autistic or very young and saw the term used before coopting it. While traditional "incels" are not insignificant in their numbers, the term's use rarely meets common qualifiers online since going mainstream and is mostly a mask for other forms of intolerance and prejudice. The fact is regardless of it's origin, it's just a slur now that people from all walks of life, all ages know too well.

I am autistic and never had problems getting laid and im in a long term relationship. You can and should learn social skills, especially if youre autistic. Of course it depends where on the spectrum you are, but if you have the social skills to socialize with other Incels, you can do it with women too. Plus there are lot of neurodivergent women too and they don't seem to have those problems. Its their overall mindset and victim complex. Its a lack of social skills, misogynystic mindset, feeling of entitlement and not willing to work on themselves. Its always the others that are the problem. It's never them.
@ShadowPhoenixMaximus Жыл бұрын
@@lucalovespopculture3743 Cool an exception to the rule. I'm autistic, have never gotten laid and have never been in a relationship. I prefer the company of animals to people. I'm able to work with women (about as well as I am able to work with any person). But I cannot charm them. I also operate under the mentality that if a women is nice to me, that they're always doing it for the sake of being nice. Also there are indeed neurodivergent women. But the social ramifications of being autistic as a women aren't as profound as they are for men. Women aren't expected to ask men out. There is also a reason why there aren't as many women being diagnosed with autism as there are men. Its simply not as easy to notice. A shy women isn't exactly a red flag for something unusual.
@lucalovespopculture3743 Жыл бұрын
@@ShadowPhoenixMaximus Yeah, cause women have a much harder time getting diagnosed in the first place. The diagnostic process was made for young boys. Often they get misdiagnosed with BPD or not at all, cause they show different symptoms than men do. So i would argue not getting diagnosed and not being able to receive help has a lot more ramifications for your life. Also my whole social circle and family is autistic and they all had relationships and got laid. I totally agree that it is harder and can be extremely frustrating. We as autistic people struggle in general with social stuff. I didn't say it's easy, but not impossible by a long shot. Also it doesn't excuse becoming a mysogynstic incel. Like online dating worked really well for me, cause i just had contact over text and could warm up to the person. It wasn't a direct social situation that way. Also what i meant with "Theres a lot of neurodivergent women" was that neurodivergent people just vibe better with other neurodivergent people. So maybe searching for a neurodivergent partner would make it easier.
@CelestialDesign Жыл бұрын
I think one issue is the expansion of neurodivergent categories. Unfortunately, while being diagnosed with autism may help some seek out help or learn to cope, many will just use it as an excuse to never put in effort.
@ThePhilotherianist Жыл бұрын
The bit about women and girls showing different symptoms is a dangerous myth being spread by the illness faking community. The reason it's harder, and takes longer for women and girls to get diagnosed not just for autism, but for an array of disorders is because disordered and disorganized behavior is stereotyped as being normal in girls. When a girl exhibits extreme shyness, or extreme social behaviors or any other sort of disordered behavior doctors pass it off as girls being girls. As a result women often aren't able to get diagnosed until adulthood, when they figure out to advocate for themselves when discussing their issues with a physician. @@lucalovespopculture3743

Is there any empirical evidence that would suggest women care less about looks than men other than to question women, which is not reliable as people in surveys provide answers that put them in a good light? E.g. if you ask "did you ever cheat on your spouse" few people would answer yes, even if the survey was anonymous, because they want to retain a positive self image.
@GamerBunny202411 ай бұрын
@j.d.s.8132 I'm not comparing men to women, only speaking from experience as a woman who knows over a hundred women, & can safely say that only about 10 of them only date for looks. Most of my friends have chosen average men that were nice people & have gotten engaged or married to them. I consider my friends to be average to above average in looks (none being ugly by anyone's standards) & they like normal guys. By normal I mean the guys are average to below average height, & about 50% were bald and overweight when my friends met them. No one on either side is rich, they are just decent people who chose someone they could live with versus someone they could look at. I make it a point to not be around superficial people, so maybe my observations are different than other women who don't mind it... but saying the majority of women I know don't care about looks as much as men think they (women) care still is accurate. 10% definitely do, & they're still single by 30 stalking gyms & bars looking for a partner is a particular stature. @@diiibas Asmon's great. It's always good to remember his position as a streamer, however. I'd say I respect him more than or at least as much as any online presence I've seen. But - he has revenues to look out for. Asmon is extremely intelligent. He would not express a view, espouse a viewpoint, promote an ideology, or align with a stance that in any way conceivably infringes upon his ability to earn income and grow his fanbase. Always remember that. And that isn't a knock on him - it would be unwise and extremely damaging to him personally, socially, financially, etc. if he did. He does WAY better than all other personalities at skirting these issues while still leaving the truth behind in breadcrumbs. But I'd recommend to shy away from believing that what he says or hints at is his 'real view on reality'. I think we all know it, but if he was to say his real views, he wouldn't have a platform, or at least as large as one that he has. He is a very well 'thought-out' internet personality and a super smart guy - a bit of a gatekeeper but not so much; which is why so many people like him despite the things he has to avoid.

I get why some dudes are this way. I never really had issues with women, if I wanted to date a girl, I was charming enough. But men don't have value in society and it's only gotten worse. Society does not care about mens problems, mens healthy mental health, any of it. That really is the case. Women are propped up at large. When I was suicidal and trying to get help, I had to go to a hospital for a few days and the psychiatrist I had said the same thing that asmon said "Society does not care about you or your problems". I'm basically an incel, but I don't hate women, or at least I'm not consciously aware that I do. It's just tough to find a compatible friend, and even more so a compatible spouse. I understand that most people don't like me. I also don't like a lot of people. Most people I meet are filled to the brim with pent up rage and aggression. I also understand that there's nothing special about me and I'm not entitled to possess another human being. I don't think I'm entitled to intimacy or love, either. I really don't know if I'm even capable of forming a genuine connection with a human being, and it's certainly not my right to do so. My ability to love or be loved is probably deficient, because I've never had the experience, and I never developed whatever it is that enables people to experience that. And I've come to believe that all of this is the result of emotional neglect from my parents during childhood, which caused me to internalize their neglect and hate myself. I felt unworthy of love. If my parents didn't even like me, how could anyone? This caused me to deny myself love and secretly despise my parents. It will likely be a lonely life for me, and I'm not the only one. My brother developed NPD because of this. He is married with kids, but his fate is even worse than mine. I hope one day God can open our eyes to the torment that unhealthy relationships proliferate. I hope to forgive my parents and start anew, again. Maybe, find a new life somewhere else, once again. I've no idea how to form relationships with people, and I'd rather die alone than repeat what my parents did. My brother is married but trust me he is worse off than I. And his children will inherit the same hole in their heart that was passed down to us.

This seems like a PSA for mental health issues. I personally have a slew of mental illnesses but I also realize that I have them and that it's a sort of social repellent. It took many years but I am well aware of it now. It's a mess when you start a serious relationship and you don't even know what's going on with yourself and especially so for your gf/bf. It took me over 10 years to realize that I created a toxic relationship each time I dated. They didn't start off crazed and emotionally unstable, but they ended up relying on substance abuse and self-harm. So it has been a little over a decade since I avoided any sort of emotional or sexual relationship. I know I wouldn't be a suitable father since I lack empathy and responsibility and I also don't care enough to re-wire my personality to not cause emotional harm to the person I'm dating so I avoid it altogether. I can at least do that much. When the primal urge to mate comes around it can easily be solved without risk of STD, pregnancy, arguments, or financial losses. ✋

They got sad, bad things happened to them, people were dickish. Good morning, that's literally everyone's life experience and most people are kinda depressed, but they keep going, coping and escaping whenever it's possible. It's an issue people have to fix by themselves, you can't change society. What do you want society to do to fix that? It's impossible, so no solution there. My father died when I was 14 and still in school. My grandpa who I loved a lot died a few years later. I got bullied like crazy because I was chubby and my mom poor. They even mocked my dead father. I knew a few people who didn't care or were nice, but I never had any friends in school and spent the time after with internet stuff and games. After I turned 18 I did sports and worked on myself and became skinny, got my first girlfriend, they literally line up when you look halfway decent and improve yourself, and I'm just an average college student. Being politically correct is a double edged sword I find in modern day. People need to learn to calm down. People want to hear the truth but dont want to abide by the solution that can fix it, and from experience by just observing most (not all women are like this obviously) women when I have conversations about issues, its usually about what they feel, and not what can help improve standards and finding accountability.

Eh, some of Asmongold's arguments are mid. Saying that evolutionary it makes sense for women to date a stronger, richer person therefore standards make sense is not a good argument. You could use the same line of reasoning to defend any act of violence. You could say that an incel that forces himself onto a woman is right, because he's following his evolutionary drive to reproduce through any means necessary. This is not the correct view. This is why we have culture and cultural tenants that are ideally supporting a more hormonious existense for as many members of society as it reasonably can. When in the society that's very prosperous and very safe compared to other countries you have standards for the partner that are as high as ever, it does not make sense and you need cultural pressure to rectify the situation.

From what I've seen, people like this are actually hyper aware of trends and outcomes on a macro level. That is to say, I'm positive these guys know all about falling birthrates and population collapse, mass migration and globalism etc. it's a rational male mind trying to problem solve going into overdrive. This results in a sense of hopelessness and despair because they see what others don't, or refuse to, and are frustrated they can't convince others what they believe. As this pertains to women and relationships, these guys are hyper fixated on what they believe is the root problem. It's not necessarily women themselves, it's their part of human nature they are trying to problem solve like an equation. "What do women want from a guy to be happy and fulfilled? Data and studies say X, but here are examples of that not working for Y relationship, so it must be something else" and this process repeats over and over, and they keep going deeper until they got lost in the sauce, so to speak. I genuinely believe that if these guys were born into any other era, most of them could channel their passion for problem solving to accomplish great things. Could they devote themselves to solving problems we face in our daily lives now? Sure, but I'm of the personal belief that our problems are so historically unique that it will take over a decade to even begin to formulate a plan.

@@mattata-san nihilists are just people who have given up on life and condemn others who don’t do the same while claiming some kind of enlightened superiority Your life must be tragically empty as to have gained such an outlook, I’m genuinely sorry to hear it

Some people need to realize that they're in the bottom 10%, but there's a bottom 10% of the other gender too. I've known so many guys who lack a shred of self awareness, refuse to attempt to approach unattractive or fat women, but never realize that they themselves are fat, unattractive, poor, and have bad personalities. A lot of people kneecap themselves by just failing to stay in their own lane.

There is a portion of incels, i think i might include myself in it, that came to be incels by interacting with woman irl and seeng they would never, no matter what you do stick with you either as a partner nor as friends, so just lost hope in dating in general.

black pill is not the definition of being an incel, the two might have some overlap but they do not define each other

Bro seeing that dude being all mopey at why he’s an incel while the camera has him perfectly framed with his anime girl posters was just poetic.

@@OlgaRykov that's true. But that's on to decide for themselves and mocking surely doesn't help. For some it may be a personality trait and that's very difficulty to change.

I just gotta say: I really appreciate your perspectives on things, Asmon. I don't necessarily always agree with you (though I think you're spot on in this video), but I genuinely respect your opinions because you put thought into everything you say, aren't afraid to admit if you don't know something, and never come across as biased for one side of an argument or another. Thank you for sharing honestly all the time. 💜

7:15 - Women make up 95% of HR groups that screen applicants in the hiring process, head-hunters included. This is why people that already have a job are more sought out than those who are in between jobs. Therefore, everything that applies to being attractive to women also applies in the female-saturated job markets. You need a face card, muscular or tightly-toned body and confidence: just like you would when trying to get female attention when dating. Anyone that doesn’t recognize this dynamic is either: 1) Privileged enough in those depertments to NOT need to be aware and STILL get jobs and promotions, OR 2) Is failing miserably at job prospects because they aren’t approaching the job market the same way desirable men approach dating women.

My motto in life is “statistically speaking somebody has to”. If you want to write a book, but are too afraid to start because you think no one will like it. just remember that there’s so many people in this world that statistically speaking somebody has to like your book. If you want to have a relationship with someone, but you feel like no one likes you. There’s so many people in this world that statistically speaking somebody has to like you, they may be in another country. If you feel like you don’t know what you want to do in life and there is no career out there for you. There are so many careers in this world that statistically speaking there is a career out there for you. You have to keep looking and keep searching (think outside the box too) even if it’s in other countries. Don’t look at the cards that were dealt to you. You are the dealer, so start shuffling the deck.

Statistically speaking, we have a 50/50 split between men and women, so your absolute best odds are that there is one person out there for you at any given time. This is if you do not discriminate at all. If you have any type of preference, based on age, body shape, personality, etc etc, your pool of eligible candidates shrink. If you are in an area where there are more men than women and you cannot move, your pool of eligible candidates shrink. Then when you do find people you are attracted to, you now must find in this group a group who is attracted to you and is single. This overlap might not exist. The odds are not actually in your favour. And the older you get the worse your odds are.

What you're saying just isn't true. Historically, only around 1/4 of males have reproduced whereas more than 2/3rds of women have reproduced Historically. Women have it easier and are more privileged so, I think they project their privileged experiences onto men and assume it will be the same for them.
