I’m super curious what kind of teas you suggest for calm/sleeping? I know chamomile, but I would love some other suggestions!!!! You seem to be really good knowing what scents/oils/flavors work for what part of the body, and I enjoy a cuppa tea before bed; even though I’m American 😂
@ASMRwithVictoria18 күн бұрын
Great question. Valerian is sleep enhancing. Neutral teas like nettle are calming. Chamomile is the one, but not to everyone’s taste.

Felt like the tissue was restricting your usual movements to a certain degree & I seem to remember another lady I saw you do this for was lying down, it felt this client was sat two far up restricting the amount of area for you to work
@ASMRwithVictoria27 күн бұрын
Fair point, it’s a compromise to a good camera angle for seeing the client and kinesiology tests following the massage.

I’m a male and I always wanted to try abdominal massage I don’t know if it’s okay for men’s to have something like this and also I’m a married man and my wife is never gonna let me have it! 😢 but maybe one day I’ll try

Ouch, okay. I’ll try to be more prepared. Although that’s tricky sometimes because I work on intuition rather than a set programme.

Love your videos! Just an fyi i think you might be using the word calmative a bit incorrectly. It means a sedative , rather than calming. I would perhaps just say calming or soothing as i think thats more what you intend when describing the essential oils 👍🏽

Thank you so much for the advice information. The word used was slightly different, carminative, meaning relieving wind. But I appreciate your help very much. Thank you.

Is muscle testing legitimate? According to several studies - including a 2001 studyTrusted Source on the kinesiology muscle test - while some standard orthopedic or chiropractic muscle tests may be helpful for specific muscle-related weaknesses, muscles tests are useless for diagnosing medical conditions (such as organic disease or mental illness). The results of a 2001 studyTrusted Source using muscle tests as an allergy test for wasp venom states that it is no more helpful in diagnosing allergies than random guessing.

A coworker of mine is the biggest skeptic of all things outside modern medicine until his father did this unknowing to him with something at random. Didn't say what he was doing just said here hold this and give me your arm. He came back into work telling us all about this odd process with this one thing and how he couldn't believe it if he had known before or what was happening. The rest of us watch this channel and snickered some.

@@aaronjames8547 actually... it is Unintentional ASMR! Maybe you should do a little research before being so demanding and rude.
@BeeBee-gi2zr26 күн бұрын
Actually ASMR is completely subjective depending on who's watching it.... Victoria is not an ASMR KZbinr & is performing a treatment the client has asked for, if people get ASMR vibes from it then that's an individual response but this is Victorias profession & has been uploaded on here to be viewed as that
@3ve87325 күн бұрын
@@BeeBee-gi2zr Think you've missed something rather glaringly obvious there (regardless of the rude post by the OP)... look at the name of this channel 😂. That being said, I don't think she does anything really differently for her standard professional work (she's just got one of those voices that are incredibly smooth and relaxing!).
@BeeBee-gi2zr24 күн бұрын
@3ve873 lots of people on KZbin are 'creating' asmr but its acting either with or without another person, this is a difficult one to put a title too, Victoria is attracting a large audience of people who are looking for asmr related material & through her job she is 'unintentionally' creating it, however if asmr didn't appear in titles it may just look like another therapy on searches
