I have aspergers/super high regular functioning autism and one of my 2 little sisters has super low functioning autism. I drive, live on my own, and even run my own business that I started from the ground up etc. I have a social group, I’m writing a novel, and I write research journals. I was still a tough kid. Little sister is almost 19 with the mental age of a 7 year old. We don’t mean to be difficult. I get it’s hard but the rough days aren’t intentional :/. I’m almost 26. My other youngest sister is almost 18 and she’s the only one not on the spectrum. Regardless of what we do, yes it can be stressful and that’s valid but sometimes it does hurt a bit when people get frustrated with us. We don’t mean it. We can’t help it. It does hurt us when others feel stressed by us. It hurts us because it makes us feel bad and it hurts that others feel rough days. It takes way more than patience and compassion.

@@Dana-ki6vs I think he was just trying to say that it can be hard not knowing how to manage most days as autism is a struggle in many . My niece is autistic , just turned 5 years old and ever since she was diagnosed at 2 it has been so hard . We love her beyond this world, so when we see her struggle and get mad and start going bazark we all wish we could take away her pain and understand what she wants. so that can be very stressful. But no matter what struggles we will always love her, it can just start to affect our mental health feeling like we aren’t doing good enough for them . But that’s just my opinion on things. Amen have a blessed day

I also feel body anxiety. I think it's the body reacting to the tension caused by anxiety. I am big fan of ASMR, but sadly ASMR won't work for body anxiety. You have to do mindfulness meditation, watch the breath, be aware of present. Thanks for sharing these amazing techniques, you are really very compassionate and caring.

I just learned about EFD tapping in my last counseling session. It’s wild how ASMR has helped me so much with my nausea and my anxiety and sleep. I don’t think EFD tapping helps right away, I definitely just giggled but I imagine over time, with practice, this will be a tool to use especially when I’m feeling so overwhelmed and nauseated. Thank you Sarah for this. You are so so so helpful.

I've had vertigo for 3 months now. Caused by anxiety gets me nauseated, I always had anxiety so to make matters worse my father is a alcoholic which worsened my condition in full panic. So I'm extremely greatful this video helped me so much from freaking out too much. ❤

I looked this up because tomorrow is my first day of school. I have lately struggled with falling asleep recently. I suffer from three anxiety disorders (generalized, social, and separation) I have to get up early and I have been sleeping on and off all night!! This is definitely a calming video. Thank you!!

Sarah- I’m going thru the process of moving and my anxiety is off the charts. I literally don’t know what I would do without your videos. There’s two that I’m watching daily. I’ve never actually commented on a KZbin video but I wanted to let you know how much I value these and thank you!

You get it so well. I've listened to a lot of anxiety asmr videos but yours nails exactly what I feel. It's clear that you also know what it feels like and that is extremely comforting that you do understand so we don't feel so lonely and broken. Thank you❤

So glad I came across this video. I don't usually comment on videos but this helped so much. I get panic attacks a lot, and as I'm calming down I start to panic because I'm calming down. Then I end up in an endless cycle, but this video really helped. Thank you!

Thanks for this video, Sarah. Something that I also think is often overlooked at is when one tends to feel anxious, the shoulders tend to become stiff. Simply just making them feel "looser" or at their relaxed state can help quite a lot.

This is the first and only asmr that actually truly helped me out of a serious anxiety attack, since my last favorite artist went… money crazy… and removed all content from yt. At first when you said “bring your problem to mind” i was like “come on, if i knew the cause, I’d just fix it!” but then you continued saying that anxiety don’t always have a cause, and thats ok, and then I just let go of mu mind, tapped and listened and now I’m able to face the day. Thank you SO much ♥️

I just wanted to thank you so much for not putting ads at the end of your videos. Lots of ASMRtists do that and it makes me sad because I use these videos to fall asleep so the ads always wake me up. Your videos are always so magnificent and knock me right out. I’m so grateful!
