i'm not usually a big commenter on videos, but this was was really special to me. i lost all of my oral hygiene habits during a bad depression period, and i only brushed my teeth around once a week. now that i have come out of that, i now have to rebuild habits that everyone else has had since they were 5, and do damage control on my now yellow teeth. the idea of my teeth being fresh and clean and white makes me so happy, and this video made my whole day.

Ah this role play reminds me of my previous hygienists Deb and Karen. They were the sweetest and always very gentle, just like this, so I never understood people’s fear of dentists…now I understand how lucky I was! They and my dentist all retired so now I go to a new place. I’ve only been twice but I think the whole staff may be just women. I'm a reasonably new dentist and I'm usually a super upbeat (depending on what the patient prefers) practitioner who will talk to you about pretty much whatever you want especially if it makes you, the patient, comfortable. I don't like to rush my patients in any way especially in terms of getting to know them before treatment begins. Since I'm a huge ASMR fan myself, I was wondering from fellow ASMR fans who might be apprehensive about going to the dentist - is there any way you'd want your actual dentist to implement any of the great relaxation tactics Gibi and others use in videos like this? Doctors of any kind always want to avoid making a patient uncomfortable or creeped out in any way, but I just figured it would be an interesting thought experiment to see what patients actually want from their dentists! I'm so happy Gibi gave the advice about dogs and cats!! That's what came to my mind right after "antibacterial" when she said "Xylitol". Many people assume, just because something is natural, that it's harmless to both humans and pets, but that's far from being the case. People should know that there's A LOT of food products (the most well known being chocolate), that can poison dogs and/or cats. Xylitol is one of those things. That's one of the reasons table food is a huge risk for animals. When you give your pets things that have not been designed for them, you always need to be careful and search online for possible toxicity before giving it. For example, a lot of people tend to give their dog food like pasta and pizza with tomato sauce when they're having it, because they often beg for it, but on top of being sometimes intolerant to grains (like wheat) which can give them a tummy ache and diarrhea, dogs aren't supposed to eat the sauce which usually contains onions and garlic, two vegetables that are both toxic to dogs. Your pet may not react to a tiny lick of it, but giving them just a little too much can make them very sick. Table food also generally contains a lot of salt, which is very very bad for pets as well.

It's kind of comforting knowing in real life my parents or me don't have much money for dentist and i have a terrible teeth(black,badly shaped,yellow) and I am just depressed because I'll never be able to fix them in my life
