Often it's that outside noise that can make an asmar video what it is. Like the Indian barber ones with the busy street noise. It's part of the asmr experience

Just so you know, the bottoms of those shoes get ruined really quickly even on carpet, the paint or dye comes off really easily on leather soles even just walking on carpet which is one of the downsides is that they don’t look that great very quickly but the leather itself will last a long long time.

I just love watching craftsmen work. Seems like in the age of instant gratification and disposable consumerism no one learns how to master an art anymore, so it's refreshing to see someone take the time to apply extensive knowledge into making a quality product.

I know, right?! It makes me wonder how much a service like that costs. Because it is very involved and requires so much individual attention, as opposed to a lower quality or less desirable option that was performed by a machine. I hope the pay for a job like this is worth the effort, because these are fantastic!

Never realised that good shoe repairs were dependent on so much skill, I always assumed that it was a trade that would be fairly simple to join but after watching the care and exactness of your work and just how much pride you take in your work I realise just how wrong I was ! Finally was this your first choice of a trade, or something you was curious about and then found yourself drawn into because the challenge ?

Made the mistake of buying leather Gucci sandals and loafers about 20 years ago. One strap ripped, other stitches came undone within months of purchase. Shoddy craftsmanship, not made to last. Went to Ferragamo, had shoes and sandals that last for years.

Oh my goodness. Props you guys. Excellent work you do. There was this shoe shop in Ecorse Michigan called George’s Shoe Shop. My dad would make me as a teenager, so mad because when I told him I needed new shoes he’d always say, “these shoes ain’t been taught, I’m go take them up to George’s he’ll fix em.” I hated George’s because as a teenager I wanted new shoes and I knew once George got his hands on them, those shoes were going to last forever. Hard to find a good shoe shop today.

It's so excellent to see folks that are still into the artisan quality of work. It would be really interesting to hear a little bit more about what each of the components are for and what their function is for regard to the whole shoe, especially the add-ons like the toe and heel bits as well as the dovetailed heels and hobnails.

Magnificent work you have golden hands! In Dagestan, the shoe trade is very developed, and I myself am a hereditary shoemaker. So, for example, I would also make rubber soles there.

Wow. Wow. What workmanship. I am hooked. Thanks for the detailed look at your shop. Worth every cent. Americans just throw out our shoes. Probably costs more to repair than buy new here,
