I love Malkavians, and as embraces go, I feel like this is about as good as one could hope for. The sire went through the proper channels to make you and selected you specifically, explained what was going on, and seems to genuinely care about you and want good things for you and not purely use you as a tool. Didn’t leave you to deal with your curse on your own, is taking you hunting rather than just letting you frenzy and run off somewhere. Plus she’s still coherent enough that her explanations aren’t complete gibberish.

Clear, yet still arcane. Next time I run a game of Vampire, I will show my players this video, as a way to demonstrate how to Malkavian well. Very well done! ❤

Nice job, she sounds unsure and sure at the same time. "Screaming for a cowboy hat, because you're God's rodeo clown" I'm going to use that, I don't know how or where, but I'm going to. I was almost expecting her to go "Once the credits stop rolling we can get on with our un-lives" at the end. I still wonder why vampire clans become so "Rah rah" about whatever their clan culture is, often to cultish levels. I know there is some selection of suitable inductees, but it becomes so pronounced, even in random embraces, that it seems like the blood of the clan founders instills some of their drives and traits on all their descending generations. Some people think Malkavians just have their 1 or 2 derangements, but I think there's more, the condition of vampirism which makes even Ventrue act unbalanced, the Madness Network or Cobweb, the blood of Malkav which seems to instill a sense of unreality which makes many embrace absurdism, or sometimes darker mindsets.

I love thoughtful comments like yours, thank you~! Years ago I saw a man in distress who was screaming and kicking windows, asking god where his cowboy hat was because he was his rodeo clown. We watched him carefully until help came, and I hope he's okay now. But the phrase always stuck with me~ I think when you become a vampire a big part of who you are is given over to your clan progenitor, because they control you a little from Torpor~! In that big chess game all the 3rd gen vampires play, I think members of their clan are like the chess pieces they move around~

Bless that rodeo clown guy. But see, some people say the Malkavian in the VTM-Bloodlines game behaves too eccentrically, yet it happens in real life. Being undead, having vampiric bloodlust, the Beast, the Malkavian network, the influence of the progenitor, you derangement might aggravate your vampiric nature, and vice versa, for some maybe it's like trying to keep your head above water in giant waves, sometimes they try to surf the waves, going along with it to maintain some control instead of going under.
