The making of home made cakes is a homely joy in itself. Hearing your soft voice combined with this really does send it into a very warm and enchanting experience. I'm also a sucker for coffee and cake. As a boy running home from school with my box of cakes to show my parents, they never turned out that good. But yours look heavenly. Another talent you got there. I'm in a state of serenity. Hope you do another baking asmr soon.

I made this recipe according to these instructions the first time, but found these rolls overly sweet with the glaze. But...this recipe is so forgiving, I simply made the cake, replaced the orange extract for cinnamon and brown sugar...keeping the butter. I topped these with cream cheese frosting....and ohhh man❤. I don't use any other recipe for cinnamon rolls. The cake recipe is such a good base recipe.

To get 12 cakes, cut the one roll into 3 equal pieces then cut each of the 3 pieces in half giving you 6. Then cut each of those 6 pieces into halves giving you 12.
