Notice how it’s much more difficult to carve curved lines then straight ones. The Greeks wrote into wax tablets, and because of that, their letters are made up of primarily straight lines. One other example of this are the written languages of many southeast Asian countries- they scratched their writing into palm leaves. Scratching straight lines would tear the leaf, so they made their letters as curly as possible.

I did a (collaborative) research paper on some of the inscriptions found in Wadi el-Hol for my anthropology class last year (I'm majoring in the subject) , so seeing a video like this makes me so happy! the discoveries of such texts, especially recent ones (the one we did the paper on was about an inscribed comb, unearthed last year, iirc) found in the area have given us so much information on the history of the region that we very likely wouldn't have without them. I get so excited whenever I see subjects i hold so dear to my heart be mentioned, and i think it's so cool that you make videos like this!

Check out Sanskrit Language, one of the oldest language to exist, it will be a challenge though because I believe it is really hard
