Best advice I always give, don't charge a thing you don't have the cash for on hand. Plan what will go on your card knowing the cash is there in hand that month, wait until the statement arrives and pay in full to help raise score. Focus on saving diligently every single month no matter what. In the same boat as a lot of young adults with student loan debt but I pay it monthly, invest in 401k, save and make sure I have some sinking funds. And guys having the bare bones of 3-6 months of savings is what's usually meant from that so not your lifestyle per month but what you need to just survive for a month. Be smart, plan for tomorrow, enjoy today but keep it all within your means!
@mr.eugene57545 жыл бұрын
I heard investing in a 401k is not worth it if you’re not gonna stay at the company! For example I work at amazon and they offer the 401k but I’ve heard don’t invest in if you don’t plan on staying there, and I don’t plan on it it’s a just temporary job for me!

Thanks mike! I got my card on December 2018 because I had turned 18 on NOV, but I did what you told me and got my credit to 738 ! I did mess up at first because I wouldn't pay full i would pay half of my balance but it was only for 1 or 2 months, but luckily it didn't affect me that much !

It’s good that you educate your audience on this. a lot of your viewers are probably young and don’t understand that these sneakers come and go and it’s not worth being in financial debt over, especially since they don’t really teach financing in public schools. Money management is ultimate key to success. You want to make your money work for you. Great video, keep up the good work.

if you guys don't want to mess up your credit use affirm is an online credit card that don't require a credit check or anything like that
@Thacldriva5 жыл бұрын
JayIsABoss07501 affirm does a soft pull on your credit report , but definitively shows up on your report. Great way to diversify your credit portfolio tho as each loan paid off shows satisfactory on your report.
@Redfast9995 жыл бұрын
JayIsABoss07501 your wrong they slap its loan on your credit report even if it’s 15 45 100 500 choose 3 6 12 months and if yuh pay off either of the above amounts early it still goes on credit report as paid for that 1 month or 2 month then it will closed. The account say you open up another loan same thing they close the accounts after you fulfilled your payment but they slap it again on credit so basically it keeps adding new installments accounts on your EXPERIAN ONLY ACCOUNT
@JayIsABoss075015 жыл бұрын
Mjhn06 i mean that’s the point of buying on a loan, it’s not free.... and you do get to pick on how many months you get to pay it for I mean all around it’s great I use it all the time to go either winter shopping or summer shopping , at the end of the day it’s the end of the day point blank period like a city girl - big shouts to drake

Kiing Waqas quick tip from a college student. Don’t finance a car. College friends work so much and their check goes to car insurance and car payment. Buy one cash and go for reliability like a corolla or civic around 1-3k. Fixing little things here a there is a lot better than a $400 car payment every month. Good luck brodie!

How about you quit college and don’t ever get student loans unless your about to really use that degree for a job in the future do your research. As far as credit cards just swipe on everyday shit u have $ for. I first look at my checking know I have enough to pay the credit card right away then swipe my credit card instead of my debit and transfer over the full amount I just charged on credit card. This goes for shopping , food , groceries etc your credit will build up make sure you not scared to spend money either scared money don’t make money !

1. Request a copy of your credit report. 2. Go over it and make sure everything that's on it is because of you. 3. Dispute anything that isn't you (If you find some) 4. Start paying off the smaller balances on it and then move on to chipping away at the larger balances.
