And yet the actress was so petty that she made a clause in her contract that Bronn(Jerome Flynn) was not allowed to speak or interact with her during the shows progress. We all Lena know cheated on him and wasn't honourable enough to face him in real life. They picked the perfect actress, a self-centred bitch who only cares about herself!

I actually heard a very convincing argument on Reddit recently where Littlefinger was accused of being the one behind Mandon Moore trying to kill Tyrion at the Blackwater, one of the key pieces of evidence presented of that (or at least showing it wasn't Cersei) was that in all of Cersei's POV chapters she never one time lamented Tyrion's failed assassination.
@Kal911
@Kal911 5 жыл бұрын
I highly doubt about it, Littlefinger would have never tried to do something so stupid, if he attempted to his life, he would have make sure to do it in a clever way, not by a king's guard before the army during the war.
@rmnxg3538
@rmnxg3538 4 жыл бұрын
@@Kal911 How is it stupid? The Kingsguard is supposed to only follow orders from the monarchs. So if Ser Mandon succeeded, he would get Tyrion out of the picture. If not, Tyrion would immediately suspect Cersei and/or Joffrey and worsen the relationship between them, which he did, he was never even close to suspecting Littlefinger.
@dakotasherman632

@@rmnxg3538 Well, as you said, they only accept orders from royalty, so they likely wouldn't pay LF any mind. And sure, it would worsen the relationship, but there really wasn't much to worsen there.
@rmnxg3538
@rmnxg3538 4 жыл бұрын
@@dakotasherman632 They supposedly only take orders from royalty, yes, but read Mandon's story. It says that he was brought from the Vale (LF's home) to KL by Jon Arryn but that he wasn't particularly fond of him (why bring him then? Did Lysa insisted on it?). Then in Blackwater he tries to do something that would favor LF enough. Suspicious to say the least. It also wouldn't be the first time that a KG is actually a Littlefinger's agent.
@dakotasherman632
@dakotasherman632 4 жыл бұрын
@@rmnxg3538 That's true. I read through a bit more and learned more about the Kettleblacks. It also fits with LF to have a KG in his pocket, and it would only benefit him if Tyrion died or survived either way. Thank you, I didn't see that possibility at first.

Yeah in the books Maggie's prophecy is this thing Cersei has been haunted by ever since, she still has dreams about it regularly, also by the time we get Cersei's POV her oldest son is dead who she is convinced was murdered by Tyrion and Tywin has literally just died as well, who was actually killed by Tyrion and then he's escaped somehow. Therefore Cersei was already consumed by fear of the prophecy and then her son and father both die in a very short span of time, and the person she thinks is responsible escapes execution and disappears. Cersei is a mess by the end of A Feast for Crows, she burns down the Tower of the Hand with wildfire because she believes Tyrion is inside the walls, but she really goes off the deep end once Varys leaves the coin behind in the dungeons that causes the Lannister's to suspect the Tyrells were conspiring with Tyrion and assisted him in escaping. Once that happens Cersei just is a paranoid mess.

Right? I hated it because that wasn't Cersei, that was some generic female bad guy. Cersei as a character is one who lusts for power but doesn't know the first thing to do when she has it, it's what makes the character compelling in the books. She was bland as hell after they decided not to go in that direction with her character in the show.

Yes and no, mostly yes but show Cersei faced a lot more forgiving world, I mean the explosion of the sept in Season 6 would've caused HUGE revolts had it happened in the universe of Song of Ice and Fire, in the end the fact that Show Cersei didn't paid Braavos had no negative effect either and they defeated the Tyrells so easily its just ridiculous. Not to mention Show Cersei armed the Faith just because she was against Margaery and Loras, while AT LEAST in the books she forced them to forgive an almost 1,000,000 debt of dragons to the faith (It is A LOT). As Jaime said, Cersei is a quick thinker and brave but she has TERRIBLE judgment plus a narcissism complex extremly interesting and sick. Yes she is dumber in the books but I could argue its kinda more understandable what she does? idk it is weird but her character is extremely interesting.

But when he discovers his true heritage, he is forced to choose between his dual identities as human and dragon - between a father desperate to reconnect with his son, and a mother who will stop at nothing to take the throne and plunge the empire into chaos to protect her people. He has a story arc of wanting to come of age but his mother holds him back as well as his mentor...a magical ancient teddy bear that has a story arc of learning to trust darins ability to make his own choices and to let go of Darin. One idea I have is that the mother was the offspring of a water demon and a normal dragon...giving her powers that no other dragon has and making her a exceptional sorceroress of immense power. She wants to protect her people the dragons. She has a inferiority complex because her parents didn't create her out of love but out of nessecity. This is why she is possesive of Darin so that he can feel loved despite the fact that she too created him for political benefit. The story has ZERO tolkien elements outside of dragons and the teddy bear has his own unique species called tinkers who are a rave of living toys capable of magic I know...I am using a Industrial magic setting...guns, airships, magic running the factories. But the imperium discriminates against non humans and are trying to wipe out the dragons so that they can peacefully expand the empire. Non humans (of countless and imaginative variety) are often in menial jobs or even forced to work for the imperium. They keep the peace with the dark horde...a race of rock gollum that were created by tinkers (living toys who are powerful with magic and teach kids morals and emotional intelligence). Rock gollums have their own culture and hang out in the caves under the imperium...the mother is trying to rally the non humans and dragons into a battle against the humans and Darin would usurp the throne. But Darin wants to live his own life and with his teddy bear escapes. While Darin deals with coming of age and other conflicts as well as growing more independent...the teddy bear is dealing with the fear of letting Darin make his own choices and letting go Thoughts?

She screamed at Kingsguards because of their incompetence, foolishness and defiance of Tyrion. 4.) I completely agree with her choice on Redwyne twins.
