The way Jon will come back in the books is so perfect. Its alot better than in the show. The reason he said "Ghost" was because he Warged into Ghost as he was dying. He will use that vessel for a while until he can be able to Warg back into his body, which will probably be possible after Melisandre tries to resurrect him. That's the whole reason George R. R. Martin named Jon's wolf "Ghost" in the first place! WHY COULDN'T D & D JUST MAKE ALL THE STARKS WARGS?????!!!!!!!

My guess is because it's redundant. Also, it diminishes Bran's powers as the Three-Eyed Raven. Think about it, if you had all these wargs and then Bran as raven it would be silly. In a book things like this work, but not so much in a show. It lessens Bran's powers and really, Bran is crippled so his powers give him a life worth living and make him very important. Jon has all this other stuff going on so they had to drop one storyline.

For the main character, I drew inspiration from several fantasy heroes like Jon Snow. Like Jon Snow, my main protagonist is the rightful heir to the throne, unites the land when it is most divided against a common enemy, rides a dragon, and wields a sword made of special metal.

@@easyevil5943 Pardon my late response. To answer your question, my series is a balance between epic fantasy and low fantasy. I include classical fantasy themes like dragons, magic, and monsters. At the same time, I try to build my fantasy world based on realism. To achieve this, I conducted extensive research on real life medieval history, particularly English medieval history. I would learn the inner workings of medieval life, courtly politics, and so on before incorporating them into my series.

Jon snow is my fav character in the entire series...books and show...but just think how hard it woulda been for ned stark to tell the lie that jon is his bastard if jon's genetic features woulda leaned heavily toward the targaryen side of his family rather than leaning heavily toward the stark part in him like it did in the books and show...ned got very lucky that jon took on the stark traits mostly...if he had silver hair and purple eyes would make it a much harder lie to tell....course if she agreed...i suppose he coulda said ashara dayne was the mother since they say daynes resemble targaryens a lot...could be partly why ned went to starfall...after the tower of joy....just an idea

Ehh while I like R+L=J i definitely prefer N+A=J, it just seems far more tragic and bittersweet as well as opens up more possibilities for Jon's future should he be resurrected in the book (like if the Theory that Ahsura Dayne is still alive then Jon has a pretty good chance of one day meeting his mom, something that he'll never do as the son of Rhaegar and Lyanna) that and well as said by GRR Martin's Wife in an interview R+L=J is far to simple for Martin's style of storymaking (keep in mind I'm not saying it's a bad theory, please don't freak out at me)
