Most NSAIDs (Specifically that works by inhibiting COX-1 enzyme) can bother Gastrointestinal tract in number of ways. To overcome their gastro-irritant effect, Antacids or H2 Blockers are often prescribed. However, antacids can potentially reduce the effectiveness of certain NSAIDs like aspirin or ibuprofen. So, it depends on the intended use of the drug.
