Following the release of more than 90,000 classified military documents on whistle-blowing site Wikileaks, founder Julian Assange took part in a special event at the Frontline Club.
Assange talks about the impact of the documents that were released in partnership with The Guardian, The New York Times and German paper Der Spiegel which chronicle in minute detail U.S. military operations in the country between 2004 and 2010.
He also discusses the journalistic implications of the way the information has been released as well as talks through the possibilities for journalists and citizens using the vast amount of data available online. - Frontline Club

In my opinion, this is a very misleading synopsis of what Assange says here. Makes him sound like a cyber-terrorist. Assange thinks national security is the wrong focus, a smoke screen.

@thefitwarehouse The difference is Bradley Manning is a soldier and is therefore subjected to different laws than ordinary citizens. This attack on Assange is a dangerous attack on freedom of speech and a dangerous leap out of boundaries by the US government.

@411American It would have a two prong effect. Firstly the new credit they create would mean that their asset and/or bullion levels (Capital Adequacy) would have to rise somewhat to legally cover the new credit created. Secondly, if we are all using that credit to buy gold and silver, then inevitably they collapse. This has the effect of playing them at their own game and real money goes from the hands of the few into the hands of the many. Lets start taking back our sovereignty.

In Australia I have been trying to warn people for many years about private banks and their evil. Now I am in the process of starting my own mint. Anyway, America does thankfully have many private mints selling silver and gold and so this should protect some Americans from the comming financial collapse.If everyone Max out credit cards and buy silver and gold, this will also choke them.

@pulsatingremedy I am still trying to fully work it out, as others have for thousands of years before me, some spending their whole lives seeking such knowledge of who or what God really is. For the present until I think I know better, I see God as love, truth and life. So then in this instant matter, God certainly must stand for all three. Even if this man is not from God, I still would go as far to say that God is using this man and others in his group to do good. He is showing THEM (the evil ones) for what they are by exposing their acts and words. Julian and his group are showing what Meglamaniacs are running America amongst other things worldwide. Death or harm to someone. That's basically it. Assange is saying that the word is misused in that it's talking about disapproval rather than actual damage or security issues.
