A trick to knife stun is when you knife them, go around to their side then stun. Works most do the time for me.

Ubisoft actually made an official statement saying that they attempted to remove knife stuns, however, they do still work. It seems to be very dependant on lag though but there are som things that help make it a bit more successful from what I've seen. But Knives are still super powerful for offense since they usually can't contested it... oh and Decoy can be crafted to 300 point bonus :P

Yeah, knives still decrease the kill range ever so slightly, but there now is about a 1/4 to 1/2 second delay from when you walk into kill range to when the prompt comes up when you go in for a knife stun. If you walk in straight during that time you'll walk into their kill range, so I guess that was their attempt to remove it. It still works if you move along the kill circle or wait exactly on it, both of which require a pretty good kill radius estimation.

bodyguard is the best. I used it in manhunt on my pursuer and she ran towards him and stunned him and then another guy killed him. I got 2 stuns.. I love AC4 bodyguard

I'd say Disruption is going to be my new favorite ranged ability. I don't have AC4 yet because I can't afford it, but I'm pretty sure that crafting it for disturbance makes it extremely effective in fast paced game modes such as Artifact Assault or Assassinate.

Knife Stuns are harder (intentionally?) in this game, but probably more fair. Personally I recommend everyone just use Pistol and call it a day.

poison dart is really handy in this game(only the delay for poison is still a little long). try it :)

MysteryEggplant I was playing artifact assault and someone poisened the enemy flag carrier so we didnt kill him but he carried the flag all the way to the base in the time that he was poisened! XD

Dannaut in AC4 you cannot kill a poisoned target...just beware!!

Yes people are correct loomer... U have to wait for a lil bit until you try to stun to get your stun also try going to there side or behind to get it....

I The game keeps changing for me when assassinate first came out I hated it then I loved it but hated death match and I stopped playing wanted and now I pretty much only play death match because the new way you have to play its all about bonuses instead of multiple kills (my play style) or defences

with wipe you not only reveal the player but also silence their wispers....for defence bodyguard also works fine,if timed properly.

i plan on doing multiplayer all weekend as i will also get a next gen version. i ll be getting the ps4 is about a year or so and i might switch playing AC to that. just depends on what one will be become my primary this gen. i enjoined single player but i was always doing other stuff so i look forward to a 2nd playthough on next gen.

I think knife stunning only works if you aren't stunning face on and they are still completely immobilised

To knife stun, just make sure to stun them as they are doubling over, right after they are hit. I've been doing this and I've been pretty successful, like 80, 90% of the time.

I feel like the only time a ground finish is worth it is if you have the loss bonus that makes it worth 200 points.

I use bodyguard rather than decoy because even if the pursuer doesn't fall for it the bodyguard will stun him.

With the knife stuns you have to wait when the character is pulling the knife out his chest animation. But its abit hard to time.

about contested kills they r not really an issue, because later on u can unlock a perk witch is make u get full points for contested kills, the real issue in my opinion is that they delayed the smoke-bomb activation so for me it's really useless right now, and in the PS4 version 70% of the players r noobs there is no real challenge.

Assassins creed multiplayer can be describes with 2 words. Kill Chain I kill you, they kill me, someone else kills them, you respawn and kill them. Its just one long chain of people dieing, as this video shows.
