No! Black Flag's story and characters are fine as is. Heck, even the graphics has aged well! If they want to graphically update an Assassin's Creed game, they should look no further than AC1. It could do with an update in graphics. Maybe, use AC: Unity as the model. Then again, I am not affiliated with Ubisoft! Ubisoft is a hydra monster with too much drama and no inspiration!

They could remake the old games in a way that expands upon them for story reasons. Someone new is diving back into Kenway or whomever’s memories to look for new details previously missed. This would be a great way to keep the modern day moving forward and also expand the old games through “lost memories” or something like that. At least that’s how I would do it.

They should definitely expand the map and make exploration as seamless as AC Odyssey on the open water. They should include more islands in the West Indies, including all of Haiti, Dominican Republic and even Puerto Rico as well as the Lesser Antilles. They should keep all the same voice actors and dialogue for the original and just upgrade it all with new character models and for the love of all AC games, polish the lip-syncing to the characters’ words. In other words, use Mo-Cap instead of this weird emotionless AI things they’ve been using.

Yeah... the game made it VERY clear why Edward became a pirate. He was broke, poor, living in a shack with a wife he couldn't provide for. He actually overtly explained why he was becoming a privateer to her during a cutscene. There's nothing to explore there. He wasn't a kid dreaming of adventure. He was a grown man who wanted cash.

Games UBI should remake and massively update not just visuals but gameplay, AC2, Black flag, Chaos Theory and Ghost recon wildlands. These 4 games could earn the audiences good will and they are old and loved enough for old players to definitely replay and new players to get into. Not to mention they already have the foundation set right for these games, they just need to update the gameplay/open world and make them more immersive and they have 4 guaranteed bangers! Yeah, no on the AC2! First off, not a fan of health regen in games after AC: Revelations. There has to be consequences for going in ''guns blazin'' or, in AC2's case, ''swords drawn''! And second, why ruin the choice to MANUALLY boost and reach an impossible grip? Ezio was unable to parkour like the Venetian thieves, and the player had to go to Rosa to learn how to get over Ezio's problemo of out-of-reach places to grab.

What I would love to see - make the remake more interactive with the crew while they are on the ocean. Make more crew related side missions and make them stronger and make a few strong allies who can be at your side for everything ... interactive crew members means more immersive gameplay, more side missions that can impact the tide of pirates, introduce other pirates who can challenge you, and make it more pirates oriented along with assassins creed ... The combat - love it , I would love more stylystic combat and cutscenes in the ocean related combats too...And on the land, we need more content. I mean that's like, duhh at this point. + more ship upgrades and challenges and rewards which increase the need to go hunting even more (both on land and on ocean)...

Also, make the game REACTIVE! Meaning, if you take a Fort, 1 of the factions in the game, (From Assassin's, Templars, British, Spanish, or Bounty Hunter Factions), attempt to take it for themselves and Repair and Fortify them. And make it so Towns and Islands reflect the Factions in Charge, and make them transferable between them. Like in the Ezio Series had "Assassin Outposts".

i doubt this game will be coming anytime soon if at all. After Ubisoft flops on AC Shadows they are going into the land of the dodo. The only thing we need to figure out is are they going to be purchased (i have strong doubts on this) or they are going to be sold after closing doors. They might sell their IP´s to pay part of the debt.
