Naoi's Hidden blade isn't the first rotating one we've seen, though it is historically. By release, Connor's Hidden Blade was a Pivot blade itself. Only difference between the two is the blade type, with Conner's being a hunting knife, and Naoi's being a Tantō.

If Oda was a Templar, why should Yasuke join the Assassin Brotherhood? It is the dishonor of the samurai. In the last scene, he still wears samurai armor with the emblem of the Oda clan. In AC lore, when the Japanese Assassins made contact with Nobunaga, he was sympathetic to their cause and promised an alliance once he had unified his country. However, after he came into possession of a Sword of Eden, the possibility of an alliance was compromised.

@@danielcastaneda4975 he was a Kosho, which is the gateway rank to becoming a samurai. he didn't become a samurai because his lord was betrayed and then we lost all record of him and his actions. his master, Nobunaga, had already been mentioned in AC lore, and in lore he was an ally to the brotherhood but ended up being killed by them, and so having Yasuke go from his kosho to an ally of the assassins makes complete sense
