Like father, like daughter!!! I've been watching your dad build his first cabin, sauna, outhouse, porch, outdoor oven and kitchen, it was such a shame to have to leave all that hard work, and I am still watching him build the new cabin etc. I do very much enjoy watching his maestry in all he does, he is very thorough in all his work and he has taught you too! I only got your video today and enjoyed it very much and have subscribed. You are doing a great job, looking forward to more videos.

Absolutely love your dads channel! Reminds me of how I avoided the teenage troubles decades ago in Ohio. Watching your show is awesome to but different. I love the relationship you seem to have with the old man. I doubt you realize how important it is to him that he’s relevant in your life. I’m building a schoolie for my oldest and doing cosplay for my youngest just to be a part of their lives. Along with converting one room for my introvert cosplayer to craft in. Thanks for giving and old dad hope in the younger generation.

Wow, just WOW! You are so talented and confident, putting the cabinets together. If I saw all those pieces, I would throw up my hands & hire someone to assemble them. Good idea to not build in a closet. The cabin is beautiful & cozy, and you don't want to close off more than you have to. Open shelves with baskets is a great idea for clothes storage. One suggestion: look at thrift stores to stock your kitchen with utensils and cookware. Much cheaper.

Hello Emily, I'm a loyal fan of your dad's videos on both channels but have never made a comment because I was watching through my husband's account and didn't want to misrepresent myself. You have inspired me to set up my own account so that I can make a comment and encourage you to continue your online journey with a little cheer-leading from Australia. As a mother of two young adult daughters (our eldest is also named Emily) I was thrilled to see you get back on board after some downtime in the past months. It is wonderful to see how much you've grown emotionally - it shows in your story-telling (both audibly and visually) and is a great example of courage through the sharp learning curve you're on. Congratulations.

I love your unrushed methodical approach to working on your cabin. I wonder where you got that from? My only suggestion would be to finish off the essentials you require and then just live with it for a while. Let your needs and use dictate what you would like to add or change. Sometimes less is more and becomes the beauty and appeal of going to the cabin.
