I just bought a juki 8700 and I'm having trouble with the belt that seems to be too tight the flywheel is a bit too hard to bring towards you. How do you loosen the belt?
@ronlilly32853 ай бұрын
But you never told us how to time the machine. Do I lower it down until I see the 4th line or 3rd line , where is exactly is the place you want the needle bar before you tighten the screw back up?

I have a question, regarding a long spring inside the head of ddl 8700 machine. I bought the machine in surplus store and i discovevered that long spring already broken at one end and the other end can be found fixed at the back part of the machine, inside. Can you please tell me what is it used for? My machine has no tension release when i use the knee lifter. Thanks in advance. God bless.

Does the plate of the bobbin slide easily to remove, or it is meant to be slide with machine tilted?
@CutSew4 жыл бұрын
on the 8700, it should slide out without being tilted

Hi. Thanks for the video. I have a question please. There are two 1/2 half circle rubber with some dimples on them (time frame stamp is 4:33-4:45). Do you know what they are for? I don’t see you use them. Thanks.
@CutSew4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, those go under the rubber bumpers that get nailed into the table. You may want to check out our more in depth video on how-to assemble the DDL-8700

Also, those are really just shims in case the table top got milled out a little deep. They don't always get used.

Do I add the entire bottle of oil? And do I have to let it run for a certain about of time before I use it for the first time?
@CutSew4 жыл бұрын
Omega Glover fill the oil bath to a level between high and low. Before threading and sewing on the machine, run it at a higher speed to ensure that the oil is pumping up to the top. You should see oil splashing through the clear oil window on the top of the machine.

Every drill I use to screw the belt down didn’t work
Two questions...Are the holes in the table pre-drilled? I have a Sailrite Fabricator industrial machine that I am disassembling, would my Juki 8700 & 1181n (I bought both) fit in the Sailrite Fabricator table? Thank you! 😊
@CutSew5 жыл бұрын
Hi Stephanie, Most of the holes in our table are predrilled. The threadstand hole must be drilled. As for the Sailrite table, I have no idea. Sailrite is a manufacturer and distributor of its' own brand. No body sells it but them, so you might want to reach out to their support.
