I think the FWB caller is right on the verge of figuring out that monogamy is not for her right now, and that's ok.

Agree totally, Lisa. Listening to Sarah’s response hit a bit of a nerve with me. At no point did she consider it was a situation where the caller was considering having FWBs in addition to her relationship (ethical non-monogamy is apparently what they’re calling it these days) and wasn’t really sure how that would work without falling for the new partner. Perhaps her partner had asked about him seeing other people and she worded it poorly. Open relationships are okay and are huuuugely successful when the key ingredients are used - trust and honesty. Multiple partners are okay.

Talking comedian. Sarah invented a new format. Getting wise from the professionals of humour. Thank You so much. Its so good made, in this episode Mrs. Silverman sings and this is part of the job of comedians, not all actors can sing or improvise. This is a mixture between fiction and reality and Sarah silverman drives this dilemma to the max, making her artform with it. A propos wise comedians, don`t forget to mention the late Cheech and Chong or just the Chongs with their potcast. Who`s wise. Listen to the comedians with brains. Need more artists to educate the audience like that. Groß!

To the girl in China I can only imagine how much harder it is to to let yourself dream in a country that suppresses so much but you should definitely never shame yourself for the age of your friends or the way that you cut loose and relish life… there are 90 year olds in the news every day for how free and fashionable and fashionable they have persisted to be their whole life oh life :) and you deserve to get your respite and happiness wherever you can Especially if you work hard at a job to afford your do afford your leisure time. There are other jobs you could secretly be looking into while you work your job like working in resort towns or teaching English abroad or various other things that might be more exciting? Or maybe even get into volunteer and hobby activities or join clubs that make you feel like you can enjoy these aspects of life but certainly don't feel like you have to ascribe to someone else's idea of adulthood like Sarah said. You sound like an awesome person

I really appreciate that you stay open to friendship with your right wing friend...and that you even love her. I am very liberal and my elderly neighbor is very conservative. We walk our dogs every morning. (She on her scooter) We got into one pretty nasty political discussion a while back. It was a very unpleasant situation but we came back together and agreed not to discuss politics and not to follow each other on Facebook in order to avoid further situations. I don't agree with her politics but there is a lot to life that isn't politics. I love her and she is my friend.

Whether we’re with someone or not doesn’t mean we’re going to stop finding other humans attractive. That’s how we’re built, so that if we ever break-up, get dumped or divorced, or something happens to them it’s possible for us to be able to move on. That attraction itself isn’t cheating. Sarah’s probably looking at this through the filter of how she feels about Rory but I’m sure she’d agree that there’s nothing wrong with people when they’re taking any special “me” time or even when getting down to sexy-time with a partner in picturing Harrison Ford or Ryan Gosling or Angelina Jolie or the sexy UPS guy or the hot girl in accounts or whoever else does it for them (while also getting something from the person their with in the moment too of course). Just saying there’s nothing wrong with fantasising. Beyond that, like others have said here, I think it’s about being open and honest & supportive with each other about each other’s wants, needs & desires or there’s no point being together if that can’t be agreed on. There are no real wrong answers here, we say love is love when it comes to intersectionality, sexual orientation, race, religion etc. Some people and intensely monogamous relationship, deeply focused on the other, their soul mate, is what makes them happy. While others want the freedom to love who they want, when they want, a community of lovers. Consensual consensus applies as much to this as to any two person interaction. There’s plenty normative approbation from society if we move through life with multiple relationships so long as their engaged in linear fashion. Because our capacity for loving someone is limited? Even though there are many categories of love that many of us practice on a daily basis. So yeah, it’s not for everyone but no-one is saying it should be, whatever makes you & who you’re with comfortable & happy, right? Equality & respect matters, when people don’t have that that’s when bad feelings, anger & jealousy etc can build up. Plus as per the Lou Reed song, I’m sure Sarah’s not saying that she’s never taken a walk on the wild side! 😉😍🥵

This is in regards to the friends with benefits girl…. has she ever explored the possibility that she is polyamorous? I mean all of us are always going to sense attraction to other people just because you're in love with someone doesn't mean you never ever notice the attractive qualities in another human being the rest of your life… half of a relationship is of a relationship is choosing that person over everyone else because of the composite of their qualities and how you cherish them as a partner. Now if in that partnership you both honestly communicate that you would like to explore sexual desires and attractions with other people than that would be called polyamory polyamory or you know an open relationship or whatever and if it's early enough in the dating stages many people just go ahead and continue dating multiple people until they are ready to say they are committed to one person… but there are tons of successful polyamorous relationships out there I think the key to any relationship like Sarah said is absolute honest communication because if you're not being honest then you must not love that person enough To really want to be real with them and you must not love yourself enough to live The life you want to live in the back of your head… dot

Honestly, I like watching, its like a guilty pleasure. And you looked smashing this Ep. Great smile btw. Cocky, coy, mischievous. And yeah, I'm like this with all the women I like. I'm a shameless flirt. Okay, to business. Don't get too comfortable Sarah Silverman. Also, I love the way you say the J-word. Its as if you're saying 'phf'k you' to every antisemite on the planet (sometimes). What else? What else? Good luck with the Christmas gig, and the musical. And...and, I like when you talk about other comics, and the craft. Its obvious you have a lot of respect for the professional, and the public service you provide. Yeah...that all for now. Hey! Hey!? HEY!!! yoouw...

I wondered if you might be interested in discussing my court case for part of an episode. Take a look. Ask me anything. The basic gist of case: I tried to get my local Walmart and police to respect the IL governor's executive order demanding masks and distancing in public spaces on 5/3/2020. The executive order had gone into effect on 5/01/20 and was not being taken seriously. I called the police station 1 or 2 days prior to the morning of 5/03/2020 and told police to go to stores and stand at the doors and tell folks what the new law is. Police leadership all over Southern Illinois rebelled and allowed the law to be ignored. It was made into a joke online that was viral at the time. 2 had died in my county of about 15k. We have "officially" lost 63 to date. My trial begins soon in Wayne County IL (maybe??). Atm, i have public defense. We are currently under a second unenforced mask mandate by our governor. At my 9/14/21 court date the only people I saw masked in the building were the guard at the door, defendants, and their family members. The judge over my case walked the common areas of the courthouse maskless. The county sheriff sat maskless leg to leg with a State Trooper, also maskless, throughout. Near the end of court, inmates that had been transported to court for hearings began discussing the authority's rebellion against the mandate and all removed their masks together. I recall laughter. My 2nd amendment rights and attached property were taken on 6/30/21, prior to any attempt at public defense (I do not have a criminal record and hold a BA in CJ). 2nd Public defender said he has finally watched the videos 16 months in (12 court dates in) and is drawing up motions to dismiss (we will see). I was fired from my job as an IL State Medical Marijuana Cultivation Agent for Verano as a direct result of the faux felony charges relating to this. At the time, I was one of only 2 people (that I can recall) that were masking up to enter the facility. The case is a marijuana case as well, because the officer demanded to search a car insured to a medicinal marijuana card holder (with alleged probable cause based upon claim of smelling cannabis through a mask he had to be told twice to wear). The car belonged to not one but 2 workers of a medical marijuana facility. The officer claimed he had a right to search because I didn't have my medical facility ID badge on me (that isn't allowed to leave the plant). I had worked in wet trim stripping marijuana plants the day prior to my arrest. Cases can be found on judici.com under Wayne County IL and my name. Videos can be watched by scrolling backward on my fb wall or for full content an FOIA request can be filed at the Fairfield City Police Department (Fairfield, IL).
