So true, your last statement was your most true ever and best ever. We have a nation of people who need better emotional tools and those who have the tools, need to share them and teach others about them and how to use them. I have fortunately received my tools from A.A., over the last 26 + years. I am still learning to this day...Be good to each other, people. We all deserve that, well most of do. I don't use my tools on evil and corrupted people who are dangerous to others! Peace, as JFK used to spout often!

To the caller asked why are people mean, we human beings (including me) are selfish---self- centered by nature, but Sarah is right, we need to show them love (but don't take shit!). I need to get out of myself for the people around me.

@bsloannyc3 жыл бұрын
Sarah, you really blew it on the Dont tell girls they can be anything. Therer are still MANY sources of that message, especially the ones telling them that how they look is most thing about them. your BIL underestimated the effect that people and media outside the family have on a developing mind. So many parents are clueless about the reality their children face when they are away from their own family, or watching hyper-sexulaized media of today.

I agree. this episode was filled toxic positivity and privilege. I heard it almost like when people say "I don't see color". sexism is a real issue that is still being addressed. just because some people are not experiencing it does not mean it is not a broadly experienced thing
@micabryant45133 жыл бұрын
I find these comments surprising especially the one claiming the show was full of positive toxicity.....I don't see any basis for that personally. Sarah can only talk from her experience and can't speak to every walk of life.
