Amazing, there's no one else on KZbin doing this. Love to hear a player's reasoning on why he did what he did - as it's happening. It's almost like we're inside your head.

@@footystudios1913 quick advice for you my man, don’t strictly go off of someone else’s training schedule. Make your own and try new things, figure out what works for you. But most importantly just play as often as you can without injuring yourself. Perfect the fundamentals.

These videos really have helped me. I’m going into my freshman year of college, and analyzing games at a higher level with commentary like this allows me to understand certain situations a lot better. It also helps me see my options during games. Thankful you play my position as well lmao. Great job bro🤙

6:21 that pass was perfect from dom, one correct 1st touch to the other striker and it was a 3v2 easy opportunity.....dom COULD'VE switched the play but don't blame him that penetrating pass was a defense breaker shame the striker couldn't take a better touch

Y’all gotta be in the contest from the start. The real game is the first part of the match, both teams are fresh, both teams are wanting to win, are competing, this time of the match is crucial, y’all gotta be in the fight then. No good saying we playing well against them when they’re 3-0. They chilling, there intensity drops. Gotta be there for the clash when it’s 0-0. Anyone can play well when they’re down 3-0 and the other team is chilling. Get realistic

Matt, I dig the analysis and the content your share, but I think you'd benefit and grow more if you'd given yourself a bit of tough love, imho... For example, the play @4:50 that you call 'decent' I'd call 'decision making failure' - because the box is stuffed, the odds are against your team (5white vs 4black) and each of your teammates have very small area wherein they can play the ball effectively, assuming you can deliver it precisely. The precision is the key, the probability of being precise over shorter distance is higher than over longer distance, and you had an opportunity to choose a higher probability option yet was OK with the lower probability one. In a long run, such decisions lead to less goals scored, less games won, the negative effect snowballs. If you can choose,.. go for the better (higher probability) option. \o/

Hey Bro, Your performance was good as in attacking space you were trying to keep ball possession , you created some good chances and also very good assist. Just want say you can improve your defending skill specially pressing in our own half you can do good defending and try to dribble when you are getting space in 2half you got the space two time but you didn,t do. All the best for future games ⚽

yea so, what if ilya kovalchuk played as a defensemen once he signed with new jersey... i feel like the team overall would have been fire if they had like a marc savard type center or winger on kovalchuks line... like, instead of a defensive partner, he would have a forward partner to rotate shifts with.

I like these videos but it’s almost like in this moment in time you don’t have confidence. Your not taking as many risks as you did at Tulsa. Maybe it’s change of tactics but you don’t seem to be taking any risks. Just passing back and into the middle. No 1v1 or driving at defenders

The lesson from any sport is that defenses lapse are the real reason why the games are won or lost. Messi doesn't need to score five goals when PSG can defend world class. Essentially, you live and die from making better stops then letting the game just about flashy scoring..

sorry matt, you guys defend like a high school team. very few players know how to tackle, espeically one on one. too much playing forwards in a zone and trying to push them in one direction. As a 50 yr old "old" school defender myself, I see it's become a lost art with your generation of soccer players. I suggest you guys watch some old video on Roy Keane.
