Sasa Curcic in 1996 for £4m was a huge disappointment, loved watching him at Bolton. Thought he'd be great for us, and maybe get the best out of Milosevic too. Stan Collymore from Liverpool for £7m in 1997 was a massive letdown. In theory, him and Dwight Yorke should have been one of the best strike pairings in the country.

Yeah I said the same thing to myself when I heard them both say that! When it first opened, it was referred to as 'Eastlands' and more formally, 'The City of Manchester Stadium' as that was the official name of the venue during the Commonwealth Games held back in 2002!

The LDV Vans kit was disgusting. The ugly sponsor Logo just completely ruined the home kit, and the away kit had a diagonal stripe that made it look like you were wearing a pack of silk cut cigarettes. Not liking the green and black Muller kit is disgraceful. Cult Classic kit from a great team. Shame on you.
