Im absolutely gutted i couldn't come along the other night. I was really looking forward to it. But, i had a charity fundraising event the following day climbing Mt Snowdon in Wales. He left because his release clause was 100 million and Man City met it. He has won everything the club game has to offer at City, and since fallen out of favor and lost his England place. Now that we are in the CL, him returning to is a no brainer for him, and it should be for us too. A quality player who loves the club...why wouldn't we want him, if it makes sense financially?

Why should we struggle in the CL? There are 32 teams, and the ones better than us are: Real Madrid Atletico Madrid Barcelona Arsenal Manchester City Liverpool Inter Milan Juventus Leverkusen Bayern Dortmund PSG We are the 14th best team on the planet, in a competition of 32. The best team in the world is Manchester City (as we saw when they outplayed Madrid from start to finish this year) and we played them off the park. There is no reason to suggest we don't make the last 16, in fact, it would be really disappointing if we don't.

On the question of coverage and us flying under the radar; I'd love to know people's opinion on the turnaround from Sky Sports etc. who will now have to talk is up for Champions League coverage next season? They all turned quite quickly when 4th was confirmed.

The natural inclination to cover the big six is fine with me. Its something for us to push against, and I actually disagree that we haven't received praise or appreciation. Throughout the season and in post review of our season pundits have all said they admire what Emery has wrought and have enjoyed the football we have played.

I can forgive the likes of Sky SPortws focusing on the big 6 because they have always been that. But the likes of The Athletic giving minimal coverage to Villa, not even made a vid covering the 4th spot finish, is crazy considering that make so much fuss about saying they cover all the clubs.

Unless El Kaabi leaves Olympiacos this Summer which I highly doubt he will, he won't be coming up against us next season as they won't be playing in the Champions League thankfully! 😂 They'll be in the Europa League next season!

i think 6th,,, unless we sign some bangers,,, but i do think we will get a domestic cup and yoyo over the next few years 4 5 6 7,,,, champions league destroyed newcastle and manu with so many injuries and that can easily be us next season you can actually finish lower but be better for the start of the next season we will see,, its going to be fun but very tough

Indeed he was Billy but Louie Barry had been playing League 2️⃣ football at the time! It's a big step up to play in the Premier League, not to even mention being part of a squad competing at the highest level of European competition next season! I don't think he'll be part of our plans moving forwards unfortunately! 🤷🏾‍♂️

Aston Villa application to league to increase ffp limits by thirty million. Reports say villa need to sell a surplus of 60 million for no points deduction. There is no chance of Aston villa making any big money signings. If the club was run properly as values of players deappreciate as clubs have less money to spend, we'd be one of the clubs who had money to take advantage of a falling value market not having to sell for less value .
