They are paying a fortune for smugglers. And when inside Canada they will be working in farm lands like slaves to the end of their lifetime. What is going to happen to them is very sad. it's not the right way of doing a business. For that we can't blame the Canadian government as well. Because their own citizens are involved in Smuggling business. They have to realize that, that's not the right way to come to the Canada. With a good education( at lest a MSc), Canadian government will open their gates. They also need population to modernize their rural cities. For that Canada need people. But they have a regulated entry, better respect that regulated entry. It's good for them and good for the Canadian government, that's a one side of the story. The other side of the story is also true. Canada have sold weapons to those Muslim countries and made them to fight with each other. Canada have earned lots of capital by selling them weapons to fight with each other. So it's clearly Canada's problem.

I was born in communist East Germany and my family fled to West-Germany in 1959, just 2 years before the wall in Berlin, on August 13, 1961, was built. My family had to go through the Western Allies, like the French, the British, the Americans and the West-Germans (a minor partner) tribunal in order to be accepted as political refugees or economical ones. At that time only my father and my older brother had been accepted as political refugees but not my mother and us two younger children. I only found about this after we were in West-Germany when my mother told us about it. We were to be deported back to East-Germany, my mother most likely to be sent to prison and us two younger children into a "Re-education camps" and indoctrinated to become Communist party members or "I don't know if we did not comply". Finally, my family received the "political refugee" assignment and we were able to go to West-Germany. We were treated by the West-Germans as "low-lives" taking away jobs from West-Germans and as 2nd class citizens even though we were German speaking. It did not matter because we were called the "others" who took away jobs, etc. As a 12-year-old in school in West-Germany I was bullied because I came from East-Germany and I fought for myself to become a member of West-Germany and I had to fight hard. So, I know what refugees, migrants asking for asylum are feeling because I went through it myself. It does not matter where you come from, what race you are, what gender you are if you feel threatened in your home country and you know the only thing you can do is to leave that is what a refugee or asylum seeker is about. Unfortunately, I can support you only by this comment but I don't know living now in Canada what I can do to support you. I know what you are going through but it seems the US and their people don't have a clue what refugees, migrants are going through. You, Americans should not be only sympathetic to people who come from former white communist countries but also from Central, South-American, African, Asian dictatorships because they experience the same problems as we Germans did in 1961.

Over the past several years, the U.S. State Department (and private contractors hired by the department) have been relocating Syrian refugees in Europe and the United States at a cost of over $10,000 a person. Once these migrants are resettled in another country, they receive free or subsidized housing, medical care, affirmative action for job placement, and other government benefits. Check this U.S. government site and you will see how it pays to be a refugee and get "Asylum With Deluxe Accommodations": www.acf.hhs.gov/orr/refugees In fact, thousands of migrants from all over the world have already been resettled in the U.S. and the cost of providing them with social and economic services is placing an enormous burden on the communities where they're now residing. By the way, if you want to know who's really behind the mass immigration, do a search for "Partnership For A New American Economy" at www.newamericaneconomy.org/ and you will see all the multinational corporations who want to replace every damn last American worker with immigrant labor. Then there's the "Open Society Foundation run by George Soros who's funding all this mass migration. www.opensocietyfoundations.org/

So, in reality, the safe third country clause does not work. People just fly into the US on vacation then claim refugee status in Canada. Then we put them up in hotels unless they have family in Canada. There are others that apply to come to Canada in the normal way and of course, that takes time. Someone just walking into a country and claiming refugee status is unfair to those that are following the proper procedure. There have been major issues with some refugees in Canada. A 13-year-old young girl murdered by a 28-year-old male Syrian refugee in BC.Middle East men beating their wives, who claim they can do this by sharia law. They were told this was unacceptable when they entered Canada but always use the excuse they did not understand. A bank robber who came from Syria who we can't deport as the judge gave him such a light sentence. A group of Muslim students sue a non-denominational school in Alberta and win a large cash settlement. All because no prayer room was provided for them. They were told the school was non-denominational before registering? Middle East refugees refusing to leave hotels after permanent accommodation is found for them. The reason they have to actually pay for that accommodation. The hotel was paid by the taxpayer. The government having to pay for damages to hotels from refugees. I guess they have different standards of behaviour where they came from. I just watched a video of 7 Muslim people distracting a store clerk in a convenience store so they could get into the back room and steal money.New refugees? So Canadians are wondering about just what sort of people are we accepting and what kind of background checks were done. Canada is a generous and caring country but we want more information on people entering our country. Not just Hi I am here let me in. Plus under our laws, it can take 3 years to deport someone and yes the taxpayers are on the hook for their accommodation, medical, education for their kids, etc if they have no means to support themselves. Our Prime Minister refuses to shut this down. He claims that we are racists if we question this current situation? We are not being racist we just want orderly immigration.

The current Prime Minister is not the only one to be blamed, The Conservatives are also to blame. have we forgotten that under their Leadership boat loads of asylum seekers entered in BC years ago. they have always taken advantage of the generosity of Canadians. The Laws needs to be changes. These refugees have gotten visa to the US and then cross the border because of the current Administration in the US. then there are the very unscrupulous people in these far away Countries who are taking money from these people and telling them that can gets jobs here, Maybe the Government of Canada should start with the Countries of origin and start penalizing them.

There's an imbalance of immigration law in the world. Like an American citizen such as me, I can just come and visit Mexico, Africa, Southeast Asia and some other countries without any visa. However, citizens from those countries I mentioned cannot come and stay in the US without a visa. To get a visa in the US you need to be criminally clear from their own country of origin, pay their enormous visa fee and schedule the interview which all in all can be tedious and long. But in most cases, people will always get denials even though they have tried several times already.
@Longlius6 жыл бұрын
Visa agreements like those are based on rates of visa overstays and visa denials. Once a country hits a certain rate of visa acceptance and visa compliance, the US state department grants nationals from that country the option of applying under the visa waiver program rather than requiring a proper interview. And also, you always need a visa when you travel abroad. Most countries are willing to grant US nationals a visa waiver because the overwhelming majority of US nationals abide by the terms of their visa and leave promptly when their visa expires. If Mexicans or Nigerians or what have you didn't have a poor rate of visa compliance, then they would have been added to the visa waiver program already.
@israeljulao6 жыл бұрын
US citizen can abide the laws by the terms of their visa because these 200 countries and territories allow them to overstay or extend their stay with some immigration payment. But on the other hand, when these citizens of 200 countries and territories wants to overstay or extend in the US, they aren't allowed. They need to go back to their country of origin and apply the extension there.

@@Longlius this is basically stereotyping moral philosopher, Joseph Carens, argued that it functions as a caste, feudal, or apartheid system in which people are assigned dramatically different opportunities based on the accident of birth: "citizenship in Western liberal democracies is the modern equivalent of feudal privilege-an inherited status that greatly enhances one's life chances. Like feudal birthright privileges, restrictive citizenship is hard to justify when one thinks about it closely".

You can try to not eat it, and go hungry for a while, but eventually you have to eat it knowing you're going to get sick. You go a day or two without food again, and then you eat and get sick again, over and over and over, the worst kind of torture because it literally consumes every part of your being. I am Canadian. My family has been Canadian for generations. This does not matter, I know not how good this fact would is however, my rights as a Canadian do not exist, let alone compare to these unfortunate people. Everything is backwards now and our children will pay a steep price. So very sad. I do not have a solution but this bullshit is certainly not the answer. This is costing Canadians their social monetary future stability, period. An absolute shame. No other country is taken advantage of more than Canada per citizen, and don't for a second think it is not.

My brother, I live in Turkey, 6 million Syrians came to our country during the Syrian war, then there were those from Asian countries, then the Ukrainians, the Russians, the state helped these people because this is a matter of humanity, God forbid, one day.

If they really want to applying as asylum seekers in Canada, They should be paying for their own food & accommodation while their application is being process not at the expense of the Canadian gov't.

That didn't make sense. Ghettos are a result of black population control under the guise of housing projects in the States. The term "ghetto" has no connecting to Canada not to foreign immigrants. Rather the American govs attempt to kill of the community. Secondly lol I'm FIRST NATIONS, NORWEIGAN, COSTA RICAN. so seeing as though my ancestors were here hundreds years before yours, I'd shut the fuck up. 😀

I can understand the frustration of Canadians/Americans with incoming immigrants as asylum seekers. The honest solution to this problem is stop going to wars in other countries and stop imposing economic sections on those countries. Instead help those countries build their economy with check and balances.

@Lone Wolf Canadian/Americans have to bear the responsibility for going to wars. Stop policing the world and don't be selfish.

Asylum? Do these people understand what qualifies as "seeking asylum"? Lol I don't think they understand. Just because it's poor somewhere doesn't mean you can seek asylum in another country. The government has to be doing "bad shit". To put it simply. You can't seek asylum because your poor or because you don't like your country. That's not how seeking asylum works. Like everyone at the Mexican/U.S. border trying to get in the country. They aren't fleeing their government and if they are it's because they broke the law there and not because the government is killing or prosecuting people because of things like religion or race or if your in the middle of a war in some cases and fear you might get killed. Other than those reasons, seeking asylum isn't a legitimate reason to cross the border legally.

Why does Québec have more than half of the coronavirus cases (more than 53.000) in all of Canada? Is it because of the tons of illegal immigrants keep coming and coming from New York State bringing the coronavirus with them? What else can be the reason?

We are truly sorry that these people for whatever reason left their homes in the first place. But my question is why travel halfway across the world for a new life. There are many countries closer to where these people are from that they could go to. Of course, I am referring to the people from the East not from our Southern neighbors. We know the reasons really. Here we give them free everything instead of helping our own citizens.
@DD-gz9ut2 жыл бұрын
Because these are economic immigrants NOT “refugees”. Trudeau allows them to come in hoping to increase the population in Canada. Canada shares no border with any of their countries. These people stop being “refugees” as soon as they take a plane to go to another country in another continent to claim asylum. That’s called asylum shopping

Why we can't move to other places of the world ? When we have lack of food shelter and natural shortage of beauty. Do we live in another world ? I hate the country system.
