Relatives in usa. These relatives are in business. They can safely stay under radar, earn money and lead a good life. For example if your relative has a store he can appoint you to manage the store and pay cash. Or sometimes even invest in a store for you. His name you run it and earn. Since these are families with close ties and strong bonds these things work. For some it is the ease of claiming asylum. I am from India and during my trip to USA I met an Indian driving the Uber. He said he his two sons, their wives and his wife all jumped the southern border and claimed asylum. But this category also strongly depend on family networks. If they have a strong network in Canada then they stay there.
