Christopher Walken was terrifying in this movie, the way he could go from a cool, concerned & generous father to a cold blooded killer. Very scary!

Obviously you’ve never met a narcissist with extreme complex syndrome yet….yeah right, concerned and generous with money he stole! Con! Keep up everyone. Take care please!

I still can't quite get my head around that digging the grave on the hill. How can you dig a grave for people who are not dead yet. Still messes with my mind 😮

The real story goes as such Jimmy Johnston aka Tommy Whitewood was killed first by Bruce Johnston Sr aka Brad Whitewood Sr by two gun shots in the face. Second Duane Lincoln aka Lucas was killed by David Johnston aka Dickie Whitewood by two quick shots to the back of his head. Last was Wayne Sampson aka Aggie who was killed by Ricky Mitchell aka Tony Pine. During the process Bruce Johnston Sr had inadvertently shined the flash light in Ricky Mitchell's face which caused him to fire the gun at Sampson but miss. Wayne Sampson then asked Mitchell "Is that a real gun"? Then Mitchell instantly shot Sampson twice in the face.

These dudes played the role to perfection - reptile cold bloded murderes!!!....The sad fact is that its 90% of the movie is true!!!

The brother, Dickie (with the beard) terrified me lol. The quiet one. You're right. Reptilian. What I found frightening is that it was almost like they don't necessarily get much gratification from the actual killings, rather they are indifferent to it when their own skins are at stake. Very dangerous men

at 1:28 during the filming of the 2004 movie the village the flim crew was asked by police to tell them if they find a grave or human remains the theory is that they believe that the whitewood gang murdered 2 boys and a girl in the filming location!
@ppiorkowski15024 ай бұрын
@jml251 in real life it was the Johnston gang. And they killed three teenage boys in a field off Cosart Road. The police recovered all three bodies after one of the confessed killers led them to the mass grave. And the movie The Village did shoot some of the film around the same location.

Why was Kiefer Sutherland's character spared? He was at the fair with Tommy, but later, we saw him in the courthouse scene near the end.
