A lot of people mistakenly believe they have to workout for over an hour to get in a workout that "counts", but it's just not true. My workouts typically fall in the 25-40 min range & almost never go over 50 mins. I also take 1-3 days off (of intense exercise) each week, depending on how I'm feeling & what my tight schedule will allow. Don't fall into the trap of placing quantity over quality of your workouts/workout programs. It would be amazing if Kelli could post a video of how she eats throughout the day! I know you guys stay away from a lot of super high fat foods and stick mostly with veggies and fruits but I'm curious as to what a typical day looks like nutritionally on days you exercise and on days you don't :) Thanks guys!

To be honest, I have steered clear of "what I eat in a day" videos because it's such an intense focus on what will ultimately be just one day of eating. I'm afraid of people misunderstanding and trying to replicate one simple snapshot of one day of eating, which I think could be easily misconstrued. We eat very differently from day to day depending on time, work, travel, exercise frequency/intensity (which also varies), etc. Generally speaking, my diet consists of fruits, veggies, whole grains, lots of nuts, legumes, and local, naturally raised meats/animal products. I don't steer clear of any macros. We do have meal plans if you're interested in a more comprehensive (month long) idea of how we eat. I hope this helps / makes sense!

I usually workout in the morning but always have a snack/mini breakfast before I do. My go-to is a fruit smoothie or a peanut butter banana with a cup of coffee. What about you?

I usually don't. I was following the wild diet for a while. He says that if you don't eat before it forces your body to work off more fat.....not sure if it's true but I rolled with it. I'm also never hungry in the mornings and very busy getting my two elementary schoolers to school, then I still have my two year old with me. She's my workout buddy though and sometimes joins in while I do squats HA! Just went for a walk/jog around a paved trail along the water. It was beautiful. Even got my legs warmed up a little with all the hills! Now to warm them up more and start this workout. Hope I'm sore tomorrow!

P.S. Thank you for the reply. There are so many opinions on how to do things when it comes to health and fitness! Love to hear them all....but sometimes it comes down to what works for you and your body. Finding that is the hard part!

That was wonderfully weird. Love the Bored Easily workouts. I, too, wish Kelli would do a routine where I wasn't putting weight directly on the knees. Just laid on my side for this one exercise to move my leg.

love this workout Although I just pulled legiments in my calf muscle so I have yo rest. doing exercise as an every day routine is great but when you can't exercise you miss it so much like you've lost something😂 otherwise one of my favourite workouts.

Throughout most of the 5 day challenges you always advise to eat a full meal afterwards and to replenish our carbs, I'm wondering what your opinion on carb cycling is. Have you ever done it, who would it benefit it most (people beginning to lose weight or those who have already lost most of it)?

Hi Fitness Blender. One question: When should a person do this workout? Meaning, should I/can I do it after/before cycling class, or TRX, or even HIIT workouts? I'm never quite sure about the timing of certain workouts or what is advisable to do after or before... Just to give an example: Today, in the morning, I did some weight training (nothing too heavy) and Pilates.Is it a good idea to do this workout today? Just an example. Thanks

wasn't as hard as I was hoping but adding 25 dumbells helped that! I like the instructor, she's so calm :)
