THE WARM-UP:
1. Single leg hip thrust x 15 per side
2. Fire hydrant x 10 per side
3. Mountain climbers x 10 per side
4. T-Rolls x 5 per side
5. Shoulder Y x 15
6. Jumping jacks x 25
Perform in a circuit fashion one time through.
THE WORKOUT:
A1: Deep squat x 15
A2: Stop and go push up x 15
A3: T-stand x 6/leg
A4: Scap push up x 15
A5: Dive bombers x 15
A6: Reverse crunch with hip lift x 10
Rest 90 secs in between each circuit and repeat 3 times.
THE FINISHER:
B1: Single leg burpees with the left foot x 20 secs
B2: Skater bounds x 20 secs
B3: Single leg burpees with the right foot x 20 secs
Perform this 60 sec “finisher” once through with zero rest at all

This was great, been searching for "hockey exercises in the gym" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Banonnor Veyathan Release - (should be on google have a look ) ? Ive heard some decent things about it and my co-worker got amazing success with it.

Looking forward to trying this. Was out for the past 2 years from a herniated disc, then covid. Possibly playing this season so gotta get on it!! Work off that extra weight and retrain the inactive muscles ! Thanks so much for the workout

Your best bet is getting as much ice time as you can this stuff may help you a little bit but it's not going to make you a better hockey player you got to get the time in game situations playing hockey , I've done all of this stuff before and the kids that are skate in 5 days a week are blowing by you

A workout is typically only performed once per week as it should be in conjunction with a complete program design with other workouts filling in your other needs. And yes, this session helps with both conditioning + strength 👍

My left elbow is injured and so is my right knee. I am killing to take shots and stickhandle but i get some pain. Are there any exercises I can do to stay in shape?

Unfortunately injury management work is something that is too difficult to do here in a comments section because it is very "hands on" through testing of ranges of motion, force application, etc. Speak with a local sports physiotherapist in your area and you'll be on track faster than any other route.

1 or 2 times per week mixed with other workouts. Ideally you'd be on a full hockey training system

Iam training for broomball might start when my leg is better😭 iam overweight and not fit at all and iam trying to get better😎😎😎(ps. Broomball is similar to hockey)

Hey choach garner. I do this: Sushups As mush As ican do Plank As many seconds As I can hold Bulgarian split sqats As much As I can do I sit in front of the wall without a chair for As musch As I dont fell like a skateblade doesnt stuck into my muscle Then i rest a little Than i do jumpsqats Than i strech my lower body. Should 13 year old kid do this? Correct it becase I dont want to inyure . do some other upperbody exercises

Hey there, Yes, a 13 year old can safely perform all of those exercises. No, ideally you would be on a program where you have multiple workouts each week and switch up phases every 4-6 weeks.
