I have a tone king gremlin and I got to say, Mark’s description of the response feedback loop of each note is spot on. I’m not sure how much he was involved with that model amp design, but I can tell you that the response with my pick was exactly why I bought the amp.

Great video! I met Mark Bartel when he was building Tone King in Canton and he spent an our with me showing me around his shop. Thanks to both of you.

Both Mark are legend. Received my Black Roseland one week ago... I mind blowed. Side effect is I am looking differently my whole gear. Why do you need so much when you can get a Bartel/Cable/Guitar.

I get that same feeling on the digital Dumble simulator thingy on my iPad. This Bartel guy is a wizard.

It's akin to starting cussing then trying to quit cussing. Cussing is effective. Blues is too. Charlie Hunter is amazing. What Bartel says about playing is all spot on, too. You to guys are interesting dudes. Just found you both, today.

In the 80's, I couldn't get my Randall Commander 225 to Marshall, either.

Stopping by for some more info about Bartel's amps today! These amps really do have a signature tone that I hear regardless of amp setting/player/recording method. A beautifully crisp and clear sound that would be a dream to play! Speaking of, I'm already in talks with Mark about a Roseland bc your reviews are giving me the confidence to trust that it is what I think it is 👍

Loved this.. want to have this mans work in my life so bad..starting to look at what can be sold.. to make that a reality.. One question myself… is the magic master on the rose land magic enough to get that tone down to household levels or do I need to look at sugar land or Starwood.. cheers a well spent hour

Thanks so much! Roseland can 200% be played at bedroom volumes with the Master volume. I have one on loan and absolutely love it!

@@markhopkinsmusic thanks nark, couldn’t reach the rose land but sugar land arriving Tuesday.. will have to trade up when my bank account has recovered next year. Very happy a very solid half way to my dream amp. And bartel tones to enjoy along the journey. You can tell mark that your videos sold it. 👍👍

@@markhopkinsmusic really excited. 🙏 for the replies got amp buying nerves keep wondering if I should have held out for the Starwood but none in 🇬🇧. And roseland was too far for me at the moment. Keep watching your buds to remind myself why I made the decision. Love the channel. Keep rocking 👍👍.
