AT Thru Hike 2024 Day 14: Wayah Crest Picnic Area to Winding Stair Gap

Just to keep moving forward, we day-hiked 5.8 miles SOBO back to Winding Stair Gap. Tomorrow we’re back at it, heading northward with our packs on, as the family heads back home. It was great to see everyone. The highlight of the day was Silver Bald which has near 360ª views of the surrounding area.
