A gradual upward crawl to see a species of Columnar Cactus that grows like a hairy white totem pole at 14,000' elevation. See what evolution has done to a tall-growing succulent plant adorned with spines to enable it to grow at such a high elevation with thinner atmosphere and freezing temperatures.
