I started with assisted/no weight movements. I could barely do it. I progressed so quickly because it's so good for the knees! From barely being able to do a leg day at the gym, to doing 20 mile hikes now. ❤❤❤ I'm so grateful

Picked it up for skating it didn't help. I've been skating 10 years coaching 3 you either have the mobility or you don't and if you don't you probably aren't going to get it without extreme methods.

Bro shoutout from Macedonia we got gyms in here! Been eyeing them out since this spring, started in September and just by seeing the caliber of people and age range in the gym over these 4 months - ATG is the real deal. Big promise, bigger delivery. I'm gonna need nutrition models to boost the physical activity results, right now I'm struggling on finding something that fuels me and is enjoyable. I overdo sweets.

That is incredible! One of our best staff members, Bojan Dikov has an ATG Gym in Macedonia, you should check him out: instagram.com/atg_macedonia?igsh=cW1zbnZoaWxxNjI4

Hi Ben! How heavy can I go when doing slantboard squats? I’ve heard only up to 25% of bodyweight ? I’m currently hit the standard of dumbell in front and don’t know the next progression, can you keep going to half bodyweight dumbell in front? thank you 🙏🏼, your helping me alot , I was diagnosed with condromalacia by the MRI and now it seems to completely have vanished I can finally feel the vmo muscles working, I will definitely spread this message out for others that struggle as well ❤️🙏🏼 life changing brother

Well done! You can go heavier with a dumbbell, or start using a barbell!

Good day sir, quick question. I remember seeing a football⚽️ S&C in his instagram saying something like, Full range of motion is great BUT you might need to take it away if you're in season Is that true? If I'm currently playing a game each week should I stop my ATG squats until I go back to off season?
@TheKneesovertoesguy8 күн бұрын
In-season is THE most important time to keep full range squats in my opinion!!! Why? Because the game is all in high positions! GAME CHANGER for performance and knee protection to balance that out!

how can I train my elderly parents with these principles ? I also have a sister who suffers from a traumatic brain injury so they all have not the best balance, but I know they would benefit from movement especially forever

nice vid man, I had midfoot osteopath surgery on my right ankle 2 months ago and I'm struggling to get back out there. The cut is a bit swollen right now but I can still run and stuff, however the mobility I used to have is completely gone and I struggling to even get to a quarter squat position without sacrificing form and my knee pushing inside for the next reason. Every time I try to align my knee and ankle I find myself at a limitation that won't allow me to push past my limit. I don't think it is a strength issue but rather a movement issue and I haven't been able to play my sport at an academy level like I used to for around 21 months. I have been doing the ATG exercises I can within this time. Any insight on this would be very helpful for me.

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this concern! Can’t diagnose the cause of the issue, but could be a structural imbalance as well. Focusing on building from the ground up will help with your ankle and your knee! Have a 10 part Knee series you can follow on this page as well. Part 1 here: Knee Ability Series 1 of 10 kzbin.info/www/bejne/iXrJl2hulKejsLs

I've got a friend, early 60s, with almost no cartilage left in his knees. He's debating getting knee joint replacement surgery. I get that these exercises can help people with poor mobility but can they benefit someone like him with almost no cartilage left? Is he better off getting the surgery then doing these exercises to strengthen the surrounding tendons and muscles, or are these exercises effective for those with little to no cartilage left? Thanks.
@TheKneesovertoesguy5 күн бұрын
Sorry to hear about the cartilage damage, we can’t advise on surgery or not, however, have helped many with cartilage damage! Check out this article: kneesovertoesguy.medium.com/confronting-the-1-2-3-of-cartilage-arthritis-knee-replacement-b9882d3c93c6

Hey Ben! I ruptured my ACL about 4 months ago, it’s actually been getting gradually better and I’ve even been playing tennis and a tiny bit of volleyball(my main sport) but volleyball feels a lot more sketchy. My question is: it feels pretty good, there is some lack of mobility like heel to butt and it starts to hurt, but in general feels pretty good. In your experience and knowledge, is it possible to recover from an ACL tear and return to higher level competitive sport without surgery ?

Or how many 3 points baskets you can do in a minute.Any challenges Ben Patrick thinks would be tough but fun. What do you think.
