I just wanted to say, I really appreciate everyone defending the Truth in this comments section. Bless you all! 🙏 And for the seeker to consider: “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Choose Jesus. He loves you and died for your sins. Even when you were His enemy and hating Him. He still laid down His life so that you could have eternal life. Repent and believe ❤️

Thanks for sharing and adding to your point. A prayer of complete surrender using caps as emphasis to help others find THE WAY AT GOD'S MERCY (HIS LOVE GIFT IN JESUS CHRIST) since there is room at the cross for you. On a balcony of space STEPPED A PURE AND HOLY GOD. IN AWESOME SOLITUDE YOU STOOD ALONE. Not one faint star to give YOU light; just endless darkness, it was blackest night. But somehow in the darkness YOU COULD SEE. YOU SAW mountains high and lofty, YOU SAW valleys lush and green. YOU SAW babbling brooks, and wildflowers grow, YOU EVEN HEARD a robin sing. Then through YOUR COMPASSION STANDING OUT THERE IN YOUR TOMORROW, YOU SAW forum's visitors, their families and friends. 🥰 YOU SAW them as sinners (missing the mark when aiming to solve a problem then creating another resulting in their weaknesses prevailing causing guilt of wrong doing) because there is no intrinsic righteousness in any of us due to Adam’s sin. YOU SAW them as they grew from a baby into adulthood due to YOUR HANDS OF MERCY. 🥰 YOU SAW them pursuing a career path for the purpose of obtaining the gains of the world not realizing that it is a loss compared to what YOU DID on the cross. YOU SAW them working long and laboring hard to receive justification by grace even though YOU stated, "This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent."(John 6:29 KJV) YOU SAW the unwillingness to accept YOUR PLAN OF SALVATION THROUGH YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST. YOU SAW them living with the guilt of committing crimes to the heart. YOU SAW them enduring personal crisis. YOU SAW the weight of the burden on their hearts with each tribulation. YOU SAW them seeking comfort from the above mentioned topography, ONE OF THE MANY MARVELS YOUR PERFECT HANDS HAVE MADE. 👏👏👏 YOU SAW their worries about tomorrow. If their hearts were a window that they could look through, oh the pains and scars they would see. What a cruel fate the skin gives as a mask to the inward pain. But the skin couldn’t cover THE SUFFERING YOUR ONE AND ONLY SON BORED on the cross as PAYMENT for all our sins because HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS ALONE HAD THE MERIT TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF YOUR HOLINESS. Indeed, ONLY HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IS SUFFICIENT TO SAVE us from this present evil world as evidenced by Mary's song of praise. "And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour." (Luke 1:46-47 KJV) Awesome thanks to YOUR GREAT PARDON for being easy on the heart. 🥰 They have seen a lot of crazy things done in YOUR NAME. For example, the father of lies futile attempts to make crooked the right ways of the LORD to turn people away from faith in the WORKS OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE. How can anyone bear the thought of his or her life story detracting from the GLORY AND HONOR KNOWN TO BELONG TO CHRIST ALONE? As a consequence, YOU ARE A MYSTERY OF GREAT MYSTERY to them. Despite this conviction, YOU ARE MINDFUL of them as evidenced by the fact that YOUR JUDGEMENT is not speedy, allowing them to pursue the desires of the flesh. They are aware of hypocrisy in religious assemblies that like to be seen and heard. In addition, secular education teaches that there is no right and wrong, if GOD exists there is no way of relating to HIM, and moral standards shift according to the whims of fashion. Therefore, their minds are conditioned to question everything this world has to offer including “THY POWER THROUGHOUT THE UNIVERSE DISPLAYED.” They have accepted the heavy burden of dealing with the troubles of this life and seek to know another way, YOU THE GREAT COMFORTER TO ALL who did receive YOU as their personal SAVIOR. Still, YOU have shown them NEW MERCY every day with each thought they make and each breath they take. Unfortunately, like the prodigal son, we are all guilty of wandering far from YOU LORD because the negative experiences of our lives tend to build roadblocks to the TRUTH. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them to identify the way, truth, and eternal life (that is YOU). Since to know and follow your SPIRIT is more exciting than any 007 movies, and YOU DELIGHT MAKING the ordinary into extraordinary. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST MAKE them understand that there is no way around YOUR TRUTH, and that there is something about YOUR NAME. As time marches on, JESUS CHRIST HELP them defeat in their minds what is false in YOUR EYES. LORD GUIDE their thoughts to know that the path of sin is hard on their hearts for the purpose of crying out to YOU to know the joy, peace of having the heavy burden LIFTED by THE GOD OF PEACE I AM, and ANCHOR their souls in THE HAVEN OF REST. In other words, LORD use the storms in their lives to get a hold of them to trust YOU and believe. In truth, YOU ARE THE JOY that seekest them through pain. LORD HELP their fainting hearts to believe that YOU, who was slain on the cross over 2000 years ago has the POWER TO CHANGE lives today through the INSTANTANEOUS GREAT FAVOR from GOD to the house of Israel made known in believers by YOU to make YOUR NAME EVERLASTING. 🥰 For as the statue liberates the citizens so the cross liberates the soul. ONLY YOU can calm the trouble waters of the mind when one admits to wanting salvation from one’s sinful nature, JESUS IS LORD, and believes in the heart that GOD RAISED HIM from the dead TO LIFT the heavy burden of sin's guilt away from the heart in accordance to YOUR WORD found in Psalm 51:1-10 KJV. 👏👏👏👏👏👏 O, the wonder of it all to experience within the flesh the feeling of a tree being cut back/pruned in order for it to grow stronger and more beautiful after meditating on the words of said Psalm. 🥰🙌 LORD MAKE them know that ONLY YOUR HOLY SPIRIT, through the experience of a new birth within believers, can prevent the family circle from being broken because THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE YOU HAVE GRANTED means a chapter of their lives is decided. Creation sings the rebirth song for them yearly, through YOUR PROMISE of springtime, giving rise to the idea that by the mention of YOUR NAME flowers grow, and the desert blooms again. 🥰 LORD GUIDE their understanding of words to use to come into YOUR PRESENCE with an honest reverence of WHO YOU ARE to experience the beauty that time can't erase YOUR WISDOM resting on their faces. LORD STRENGTHEN their determination to never waiver in efforts to search for YOU because the wages of sin is too high for anyone to pay. Additionally, THE KING OF KINGS is needed in their hearts to learn how to expand their capacity to love for YOU are LOVE in any language. 🥰 Once they learn to speak it with boldness through YOUR WONDERFUL COUNSELING all the world will hear, and know that LOVE is the language of their hearts. So LORD, KEEP KNOCKING on their doors until they let YOU in to know hardships and struggles will end with a GREAT CELEBRATION WITH YOU. 🥰🙌 If one believes faith cannot be forced, YOU WILL GIVE that individual over to the stubborn heart to follow own counsel which will surely fail him or her to the extent that the punishment will last forever found in Psalms 81 NIV. Given this, I pray that YOU WILL MAKE that person see that this feeling is wasted for a world in which we become strangers as we age, gives us thrills instead of peace, aims to solve a problem but creates another, and unrest surges with each passing generation. Shed some light into their broken hearts for YOU ARE THE GREAT JEHOVAH, THE GOD THAT HEALETH thee. Lastly, LORD when they call on YOU in earnest prayer to come into their hearts to be born again (repentance manifesting itself in a changed life), I pray that YOU WILL GIVE them the blessed assurance of their salvation because nothing breaks YOUR HEART, or tears YOU apart like when they cry from the trials of the devil who comes to slander, falsely accuse, steal, kill & destroy. Only by drawing nearer to YOU LORD will put them on a path to a glorious one way trip winding upward to YOU where pain is not welcome because the heart will never break anymore. For ONLY YOU UNDERSTANDS our tears since YOU LOOK at the heart, while humans look at the flesh. O LOVE that will not let them go. When they don't have the strength to try, and have cried all they can cry hear their hearts that need YOU more today than yesterday. Many thanks LORD for speaking TRUTH in our lives TO BLESS those who are not offended by THEE. LET YOUR WILL BE DONE because YOUR LOVE ALONE CONQUERS everything by WAITING for them to cease struggling, and finally surrender to YOUR EMBRACE to learn about YOUR LOVE AND PROMISE TO TAKE CARE of your children exquisitely. 🥰 Since... "at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore"... (Psalms 16:11 KJV), and the nail print for them to know YOU by answering the following question. How did CHRIST LOVE people into a relationship with HIM? 🥰

What is the heresy of two powers in heaven? The basic heresy involved interpreting scripture to say that a principal angelic or hypostatic manifestation in heaven was equivalent to God. The earliest heretics believed in two complementary powers in heaven, while later heretics believed in two opposing powers in heaven. (Genesis 1 Elohim vs Genesis 2 Yahweh Elohim) "Deus" means "God", "Dea" means "Goddess", and "Dei" could either mean "gods" (plural) or "God's" (possessive) based on context. The Hebrew counterparts to the Latin above are El, Elah and Elohim. The Elohist uses the possessive context for Elohim (except when referencing the false Elohim). The Yahwist, Priestly and Deuteronomist use the plural context for Elohim (except when referencing the true Elohim). The Bible isn't about El/Theos/Deus or whatever language you want to say the title (not a name) meaning God. The Bible is about Elohim (sons of El). Good vs evil Elohim, True vs false Elohim, Chosen vs adopted Elohim, Necessary vs contingent Elohim, Genesis 1 Elohim vs Genesis 2 Yahweh Elohim. Bibles should note when Elohim is used as plural or possessive. Theology comes from combining two Greek words: Theos, meaning God, and Logos, meaning Word or rational thought. [The Word is Elohim from Genesis 1] (not to be confused with Yahweh Elohim, the false Elohim, from Genesis 2) Compare John 1: 1-5 with Genesis 1: 1-5: John 1: 1-5 Names of God Bible The Word Becomes Human 1 In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was already with God in the beginning. 3 Everything came into existence through him. Not one thing that exists was made without him. 4 He was the source of life, and that life was the light for humanity. 5 The light shines in the dark, and the dark has never extinguished it. Genesis 1: 1-5 Names of God Bible The Creation 1 In the beginning Elohim created heaven and earth. 2 The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep water. The Ruach Elohim was hovering over the water. 3 Then Elohim said, “Let there be light!” So there was light. 4 Elohim saw the light was good. So Elohim separated the light from the darkness. 5 Elohim named the light day, and the darkness he named night. There was evening, then morning-the first day.

This was a little terrifying to watch as ive only heard of hell as a fiery pit of doom. I've only recently started looking into religion and have not cared for it my whole life. What drove almost absolute divine fear into me was a dream. The world was coming to an end, we all knew it. The dream was so vivid and real it was like I was there. The ground exploded from beneath me ( and everyone ) and in an instant I was dead. I didn't feel any pain but knew I had died and I felt myself falling in darkness. For the first time I could feel God. Except I recognized that I had felt this feeling my entire life. It was like an emotion that is always around me and I only now recognized it as it was leaving me, as I fell. It's hard to describe but it was joy, caring, warmth. Good. I was so frantic and scared, knowing that God was leaving me, losing that feeling the further and further I fell. Tge worst part was that as I was falling and this feeling was leaving I could feel how sad it was ( God ). He wanted to be with me but was unable to do so. It wasn't disappointment in me but sadness that I could not be with him. I was aware that I was falling to hell. A location, I never saw anything fiery, just pure darkness. Just as the feeling was almost completely gone and I was about to fall out of his grasp forever ( I knew it would be forever and there could be no changing this, part of how frantic I felt was feeling how monumentally I had messed up ) I fell into my bed. I was wide awake, there was no suddenly waking up, i thought it was still a continuationof the dream. I had felt like I had only fallen maybe a foot. I felt normal instantly. The feeling of good returned. I was unable to sleep and could not function for days, it really got to me. I went to Christian forums right away to see if anyone had any insight. The craziest thing ever to experience and still to this day I can't bear to think of that feeling of good leaving me and how awful it felt without it. The best way I can describe it is like having a warm hand surrounding you from all danger your entire life and one day it just being gone, leaving you alone and exposed. Long comment but this video really hit home.

so you had a nightmare? and the things you described aren't uncommon of dreams. knowing the reasons for things without reasonable explanation (because your brain is constructing the entire scenario), and a smooth transition into waking up, neither of those are unusual for dreams. i've experienced both such phenomena. and having those in the form of a nightmare can be terrifying, i'm sure. emotions in nightmares can be _terrifying._ and your mind explained the whole situation by loosely using concepts that you already know of, like apocalypse, darkness, loneliness and separation, God as a super powerful and all-comsuming presence. nothing about this seems truly remarkable to me, no matter how extreme or real the emotions surrounding it felt.

I can see her frustration. He doesn’t answer anything clearly and takes her on a wild goose chase when all he needed to say was yes your going to hell if you believe in your self righteousness rather than what Jesus did on the cross. For it is my Father's will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day John 6:40 and Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. So the key word here is should follow those good works. It’s isn’t a requirement. The gift of salvation is free, once you believe you are sealed forever. He talked in circles and used no scripture to back up anything and honestly confused her. He should’ve got straight to the point but the flesh wants what the flesh wants trying to outsmart her with fluff.

This is true. I also find it strange how so many people believe they're entitled to forgiveness. People repeatedly do the worst things and then argue that vengeance and unforgiveness make God (Old Testament examples particularly) evil. If He forgave those who would do it again, feeling justified, there can be no justice. That would be truly evil. It also happens to be why the world is as bad as it is now. Scripture warned us, too. All of us contributed to this mess. We had the knowledge and ignored it. None of us deserves forgiveness. It's His Mercy alone that gives us that option. Glory be to God through Christ Jesus. Amen

She might be lost in the sense that she doesn't know the purpose of life, but if she keeps on asking the right questions like this, she will find what so many people haven't. "If you seek Me, you will find Me if you seek me with your whole heart." said God. What a great kid! I hope that she keeps going and that when she does arrive at the Truth, she is is in a place to accept it. As a Christian, I wish more people would ask me considerate but challenging questions like this. To her direct question, the speaker is not avoiding it. She is asking a closed-ended question about something that requires an opne-ended answer. She is wanting a yes or no, but neither a yes or no can be given because for one thing, the answer to her question isn't decided yet. It depends entirely on her choice. Even the worst of men can turn and put their trust in God at any point in life, and if they do or don't, that will decide their destination. How can this teacher know what will become of her when it comes down to her? After-all, no one goes to Hell without having chosen to do so, and likewise no one goes to heaven without choosing to do so. You can want a good result all day long, but without taking the necessary path to get there (trust in Jesus Christ), you simply won't get there. The King has graciously made a way to Him in spite of all our wrong and selfishness. Why would we not take it if it leads to where we claim to want to go? Why try to find our own way? God has given one way to get to heaven - by His grace through Christ, so that human stubborness and independence will not get us there. If you want to live in the land of the Good King, then you have to acknowledge His rule and His right to decide how you get in. Or do you still think you can get rich without working for it? Do you still expect to be healthy when you don't eat right? Do we expect our sins to be overlooked when we don't even want to acknowledge the painful labor Someone underwent so that you can be forgiven? Have you considered what He went through to win your forgiveness, and will you still go to heaven when you won't even acknowledge it? We want to go to heaven, but we want to go there on our own merit instead of His by His grace. It's very arrogant to stand and say, "I deserve to go to heaven because I am a good person". God sees the truth about us. No one is good. That is the point of the entire Bible - that we need Him. Humans were good only for a short time, and then we chose a path of striving for control, greed, selfishness and personal esteem rather than sharing, unity, and reverence for God - a path of trying to be our own gods - a path that is in direct defiance of His position as our creator - a path we remain on until we surrender to Him.

Being patient is important, but did she go home changed? The most important thing is a saved soul. I think his answers were a little vague. Jesus beat Satan with the Word. And that’s how we should do it. This the the answer she needed. ““For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. “There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. And the judgment is based on this fact: God’s light came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil. All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed. But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬ bible.com/bible/116/jhn.3.16-21.NLT

The way your consciousness seeps in every morning to opening your eyes to the new day, to being able to move, no matter how limited, and feel, see, hear, taste or smell. And be surrounded by at least someone you love and life itself - birds, pets, trees and much more - all these, my friends, is the miracle we fail to appreciate and take for granted. Atheists are some of the most ungrateful folks out there. They don't realize their given state and circumstance itself is one grand miracle a few billion years in the making, just so we could all be here.

I think she is frustrated because she wants to understand. She wants to get a definitive answer, even though she already know what it is. If she continues to pursue this, I think it is a good chance she'll get to know Jesus. But I would advice her to let go of her pride and not letting wobbly arguments against faith stand in her way. You cannot prove without any doubt that God exists, just as you cannot prove without a doubt that the elevator you are walking into won't plummet to the basement and kill you - yet, we use elevators all the time, even in the presence of the much safer stairs. When Jesus was on the earth, lots of people saw His miracles and STILL walked away from Him. How much evidence do you really need? That is why it is called FAITH. It's not knowledge, it is belief. But here is the interesting thing: when you receive the Holy Spirit and get saved, you start to see things and understand things that was hidden before. The mystery in the faith is big, but you'll see more and more of it clearly. I pray she will open her heart to Jesus. That will be a glorious day, and all her frustration and doubt will be lifted away and she will breathe easier!

I will admit I sometimes still feel on the fence about hell, although I think it is largely because it is so difficult to unlearn a lifetime of emotional conditioning from the traditional view of eternal conscious torment. Biblically and theologically however, conditional immortality/annihilationism is overwhelmingly compelling. I would say my rationality and my trust in the Bible believes CI must be true, but a lifetime of being raised in Baptist churches is kind of hard to undo.

@chantelleparkinson9891
@chantelleparkinson9891 10 ай бұрын
@19JMT96 if you read the Bible, maybe you will understand the "decline" is all part of the plan already written. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. You call it the decline. The Bible calls it the "falling away,” or “the rebellion.” And that’s what an apostasy is: a rebellion, an abandonment of the truth. In 2 Thessalonians 2:3, Paul makes it clear that the day of the Lord, a time of worldwide judgment (Isaiah 13:6; Obadiah 1:15), will not transpire until two things happen. First, the falling away, or great apostasy, must occur. Second, the “man of lawlessness” must be revealed, he who is called the “son of perdition,” also known as the Antichrist. Once this person makes himself known, the end times will indeed have come. If you refuse to see how prophesy is being fulfilled and you are determined to stay ignorant, then so be it.
