Nabeel Qureshi died far too young (1983-2017). He was a Christian only for around 12 years. Yet in that 12 years, he finished a bachelor's degree, a doctorate (MD), two masters degrees, published 3 books, wrote several articles and papers, traveled the world teaching and preaching, got married, had a child, and he was working on a second doctorate at the University of Oxford shortly before his death. Again, he died young, but he lived a full life, and he did far more in that short span than most people do in a lifetime.

Correct, and to say that God being both human and divine is "illogical" or similar to that of a square circle, this simply isn't true. Yes, it's illogical to create a square circle, God can't do what is illogical. But having two natures like humanity and divinity at the same time is not illogical. It's supernatural. It's incomprehensible. It's beyond our finite understanding of what is supernaturally possible. It's like saying that God can't be eternal and have no beginning. It's not illogical, it's incomprehensible to the finite human mind.

You guys call yourselves...God fearing...wdym theres shouldnt be any fear?!? 😂💀
@MadelineDuff-tn5lv11 ай бұрын
Thanks for asking! This is a very important (and often-posed) question because it impacts how we relate to God. The confusion lies in the fact that the English word, “Fear” has multiple meanings. The definition most often used in everyday life is terror and anxiety. However, “Fear” can also mean reverential awe. In the sense that your respect and reverence for someone is what causes you to obey and defer to them, rather than because you are afraid that they might hurt you or something (like how someone would see a ravenous wolf or a cruel dictator). This second type of fear reflects the way an athlete would view their really good coach or the way a soldier would view their faithful and honorable captain. They respect and submit to these people because 1) the person is worthy of such treatment and 2) they want to. You and I would “fear” this type of person because they themselves are so wonderful, powerful, eminent, awe-inspiring, and dependable. You understand that they have earned the right to be followed and trusted by you.

I think how he explains the trinity is one of the clearest I've heard. There's no humanly perfect explaination of the trinity but how Nabeel put it really helped me to understand more what it means.
@zaydquarless104611 ай бұрын
@camillewilliams3185 .. sister, don't you believe the trinity should be explained by God Himself? Or at least one of his prophets. The truth is, this concept doesn't exist in the bible. There are no explicit verses that confirm that Jesus is God. There are many explicit verses that show Jesus is not God. This is the reason why the Quran clarifies any confusion about who God is. Your mind and heart will always change when trying to understand the trinity. Your heart and mind will find peace in understanding that God is only 1 in every way. Him alone has the right to be worshipped. Jesus and everyone else in the bible worshipped Jesus' God, not Jesus. The God of Abraham is the only true God and he is One. Not 3-in-1

with all due respect, nabeel's answers to the muslims questions were bs firstly, hadith (and tawhid) were collated into a book after 200 years, but they are directly from the prophet (saw) trinity on the other hand, was never preached by jesus, but was a doctrine developed after a few hundred years. first it was even a binity, according to the ecumenical councils secondly, the muslim is saying god can't do contradictory things, ie. be both infinite & finite at the same time, Nabeel's answer is simply "yes he can" without any evidence of how a circle can be a square so it is a false comparison, he's being cheeky to avoid the questions, because I don't believe he was that daft

Please forgive my writing skills should they come across anything more than informational. In order allow free will, God gave Adam the freedom to chose to sin. ( As you see the world has evil in it) Once sin occurred, it would require a compensation of a commensurate worth to repay the penalty of, or the propitiation, to cover mans sin. In Gods eyes sin is a very bad thing (Romans 6:23 says death is the consequence of sin.) You and I have sinned and the only thing that will cover our sin is the blood sacrifice that Jesus gave for all man. The word sacrifice implies death, and the scripture tells us in Hebrews 9: 22 " In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness." Because God can not die, Jesus put on flesh(Became a man) so that he could be a sacrifice for mans sin. Additionally you may not understand that our God, the son and the Holy spirit are one with three parts @@singingsavage3056

The more revealing and true that God is as a loving Father really makes me know I am unworthy and how all of humanity is unworthy of what gifts and Blessings He has bestowed upon us; as we in our own wills destroy our gifts along with each other, but not all hope is lost. We even as faulted beings do possess the ability to be better, do better, and become better through what we will for the righteous intent of ourselves as a whole. The Bible does tell us that while we were yet sinners God loved us and that God so loved the world that he sent Jesus to save us, but how do we reconcile this seemingly condition that we have to obey the commands of Jesus to be loved by God? John 14:23-24 KJV [23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. [24] He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me." It seems here there's a condition of loving Jesus and keeping his words for the continued love of the Father.

an octagon is not a circle.
@coozx53511 ай бұрын
More relevant: an n-gon where n approaches infinity. As a polygon’s number of sides approaches infinity, it converges upon a cirlce, yet it is still not a circle; rather; the circle is the limit, yet never obtaining it. However, infinite and finite are mutually exclusive. Thus, this kind of argument is irrelevant. He answered it beautifully in the video. Basically, an infinite God who transcends time and space can ‘reveal’ himself to us in a finite form (i.e. a small part of his infinite nature). Jesus was both part God and fully God, but not ALL of God. This is not a contradiction; rather, it is minute nuances of the semantics. The easiest way I explain it to a child is by: 1) Take a glove 2) hold the glove at one pinky around the base of the pinky 3) Ask “is this still connected to the glove?” 4) “would you still consider it part of the glove?” 5) “And, if I cover up the rest of the glove, is it still the glove or not the glove?” Deeper conversation ensues about the finger part of the glove; but it is still obviously part of the glove. 6) Just like this glove, why can’t God reveal himself to us as a part, like we see this pinky ad part of the glove, yet not reveal to us His whole being at the same time? This is Jesus. He is part of God that is revealed to us; however, it is not ALL of God. Yet, like the pinky finger is still the glove which we refer to and speak of, Jesus is still God. Note: This argument is bolstered by the idea that God is spiritual and our despite us not seeing it, the spiritual is there; much like how everything we are and around us is a form or energy held together by components of atoms (and such). We don’t see how they work with the naked eye. How much more do are we left in awe about how the spiritual works?! God bless and Christ be with you

But ryt after his religion started spreading, he became rich, got plenty of wives nd a huge army whereas on the other hand, the apostles didnt gain a thing, on the contrary, they lost their heads while preaching jesus. Bcause everything they and we knw about jesus r from the apostles. So these guys r taking in whatever they find is convenient according to their religion nd rejecting everything else as false taht doesnt agree with their religion. Ok lets agree taht the apostles exaggerated, there's still one problem left. If jesus didnt claim to be god, how come he ended up on the cross. The jews hanged him bcause he went around preaching himself to be yahweh. So if thats not true, well u give me a gud reason as to y he ended up on the cross. One thing I'd like to ask...could you do a vid about Jesus Christ talking about blasphemy against The Holy Spirit? The whole "God forgives everything" and "God will forgive you no matter what you do" contradicts what Jesus said about blasphemy against the Holy Spirit and it also may contradict what is said in the book of Revelation in reference to choosing to taking the beasts mark and worshipping the beast, and/or bowing to the beasts idol. God said he doesn't forgive everything...he forgives many things but not everything and to say otherwise is unbiblical and it's also dangerous. It's important for ppl to know this and it's also important to know what blasphemy against the Holy Spirit really means...there's different interpretstions of what that is. I personally struggled with this because I thought that I did the unforgivable and condemned myself many times..I still sometimes question if I'm too far gone or not.. Some ppl say that if you are worried about it than that means you didn't because if your too far gone than ya wouldn't care...I understand why they say that but is that really true? Because one of my questions was...could a person that is too far gone still love God and have a desire to be with him and serve him? A part of me wondered because I've seen many lukewarm Christians that claim that they love God and yet live in total rebellion against him without any remorse or repentance. Could you or someone make a vid talking about this to make it clear? I want the truth...and there are others who struggle with this like I do but not many speak it because it feels like a isolated situation plus we're scared to be judged....like we're the only ones because out situation is hardly heard of or talked about. Ppl like me need to know the whole truth behind these questions... It's a battle and its hard to deal with especially when ya feel like your the only one or that your alone...like no one can understand how it feels unless they've been through it.
