Athens 2004, PlayStation 2. I used to love this game and hope they make more like it after upcoming Olympics. So much fun going back to this one, I hope you enjoy it. A big thank you to the team working on PCSX2 for making it possible for me to revisit this game, they've done a great job and deserve a huge amount of credit. Hope you enjoy.

yeah honestly... after that it was, not only, but mainly graphics that changed with newer consoles and better pc´s. GTA San Andreas was the Big Gaming Revolution for me back in the Day (yeah i know gta 3 and vice city are similar, but gta san andreas still hits different), it was so Different compared to everything on a ps 1 or on a pc to that point. the ps2 gave us Open World Games like san andreas and even much bigger (but a bit lifeless) with just cause, it gave us games like "Fahrenheit" long before a "heavy rain" or "detroit become human" existed. Even tho the most popular shooters had their prime with the next generations halo3, modern warfare 2 or battlefield bad company 2 (and battlefield 3), i remember the first time i played a first person shooter where you had full control over your movement was on a ps2 (even with splitscreen multiplayer). Late PS 2 Games where miles away from those clunky ps1 games.

@@MB93 yeah. but it's still a fun time! if I had to rank these games, it would be like: 1. Athens 2004 2. London 2012 3. Beijing 2008 4. Atlanta 1996 5. Tokyo 2020 6. Sydney 2000 7. Rio 2016 (?)
