I’m a Georgia girl, and these guys were huge in the Atlanta area. Ronnie Hammond was such a great frontman.

Love this song! Great southern rock band from the 70's. They had some great songs such as "So Into You", "Large Time" (tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd), "Do It Or Die", "Spooky" etc.

For me, ARS had their own lane within the Southern Rock community. They we’re very chill with many of their songs, but could rock hard when they wanted. I agree with your comments Harri, their music still holds up just fine.

From their 1978 album, "Champagne Jam" it is a song dealing with the uproar in the world and how you deal with it. They have been referred to as American Southern rock, Southern Country Rock etc. Great vocals and instruments make this so easy to listen to. This song was part of the US chart phenomenon called Frozen 14, when the Billboard Hot 100's, did not move for 4 weeks in 1978. This song charted at Number 14 in the US and Number 15 in Canada. It did not chart outside America. Great reaction Harri. Thanks Harri and Scott 👏👏 Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦

Lucky you! Class of '77 (high school) here, I would've given anything to see a Boston and ARS concert back then (but I did get to see Fleetwood Mac, Dave Mason, Foreigner, 3 Dog Night). Had an offer to see Zeppelin at the Santa Monica Civic, told my buddy I'll catch them next time, and not long after that Bonham died and Zep was no more -- I regret that fateful decision to this day. 😟

Like the band TOTO, Atlanta Rhythm Section, were also studio musicians who decided to give it a go as a band....great decision guys!😎😎😎 Love "Spooky" and "I'm so into you" also.

First concert I ever saw was ARS. I've always been a big fan. One of the stalwarts of Southern Rock.... The late Paul Goddard was a virtuoso on bass. Several of the members had been in the Classics IV from Jacksonville. RIP all the members who have preceded us....

So many good songs out of this band besides the two that.......well...we have all heard So Into You and Imaginary Lover over and over ad nauseum. This song is a welcome change for an ARS reaction. If you drill into their library, you will find a gold mine. Thank you.

Yes, it is Southern Rock. They were the session band at Studio One, in Doraville, GA. They have a song entitled, DORAVILLE, too. Skynyrd also recorded there.

I'm a big fan of ARS from back on their heyday. One of my all time favorite groups. They were so tight. Tremendous session musicians that came together in Buie's " Studio 1" and made great music. I love seeing " first timers" when they FINALLY discover this timeless band!

Thanks Harry, for checking this song and Southern Rock band from Georgia! This song along with others like Georgia Rhythm, Large Time, Champagne Jam, Do It Or Die, Born Ready, and of course I Hate The Blues/Let's Go Get Stoned, have great meaning even today. I loved these guys and attended many of their concerts back in the 70s. They always did a concert at the West Palm Beach Auditorium on New Years Eve to bring in the new year and they played their hearts out. I hope you check these meaningful and delightful songs out. You will not be disappointed! They also do some love songs like I'm So Into You, You're So Strong and a redo of a 60s song, Spooky! Just the music would be enough to entertain me but these guys could do anything!💚

Seeing as much of the USA is at this time experiencing the Dog Days of summer you might consider reacting to “Dog Days” song by ARS. These guys have a smooth sound but can rock it out. Saw them open for ZZ Top in the 1970s. Fourth row.
