Smooth as a baby's butt. That's ARS. Saw them live a few times in the late '70s. They will jam onstage. One of the most enjoyable concerts I ever attended was ARS, with Wet Willie opening for them. Both bands were awesome. Check out their song Another Man's Woman. Has a great bass guitar break in it.

Loved the Classics IV from the very first time I heard them in the 90s . Spooky , Stormy , Sunny , Mary , Mary Row your boat , 24hrs of loneliness all great songs

Wow, didn't know that, makes sense, I do like the Classics IV version better, by the way if you do this song, which we have done many times, the chords are funky on the guitar, if you try and copy the original!

No not a cover...Classics IV kinda turned into ARS...producer Buddy Buie & guitarist for both bands JR Cobb wrote the lyrics to Spooky...it was originally just an instrumental 😊

The Atlanta Rhythm Section were literally the Atlanta rhythm section. They were a session group of musicians you hired to make an album. Obviously, they were more talented than anyone who hired them to make their plebian talent sound good. Ronnie Hammond RIP

Wrong choice. The Classics IV version is much better! Although, i believe 2 members of ARS is from the Classics IV, but then don't have Donnie Yost's lead singer of the Classics IV.
