I just bought an Atlas Clausing 6316 and I hope you do some more restore videos as mine is well worn and it would be cool to see somebody else working on theirs

I have the same lathe. Mine has a taper attachment. For some reason my cross slide has a big flat shim between the cross slide and bed

Where did you get the nut. I’m looking for atlas clausing 4800 series nut.

That lathe is not metric-

Yup, that 5.5mm was 7/32 actually, etc. Nothing would be metric on this lathe originally.
