Thanks! This really helped. Especially the "last updated" part.

I tried this last night, and it worked. Had the list pulled up and charted. For some reason tho, it doesn't work today. Following along, just like I did last night, tried multiple times and it brings back zero results. Very odd.

Hey thank you so much for putting this video together. Well done. I am a returning player looking to get my teeth back into exploring. I have a carrier which should make this process easier. The problem is i can only get 58 jumps out of my Mandaloran at the moment and when i produce the Toursist router list the jumps are horrendous all high double figures. Is this process only for high jumping ships?
@AtlasRandGaming16 күн бұрын
@@biggyzee8773 make sure you set your jump range in the route screen to max jump of your ship.

Thanks for this! I couldn't quite figure out the research part in particular. I too wanted to get a few first footfalls and then go give some new games a whirl. :) Is it worth taking a FC out there in your opinion? Have a Happy/Safe new year!
@AtlasRandGaming22 күн бұрын
Yeah, having an FC out there, makes it easier for you to get more first footballs because your base of operations and the place that you turn in data is going to be in an area with a lot more systems where you can get first football. If you’re a Thousand Light years away from the bubble, there are a few systems where you can get 1st footfall. if you’re 5000 light years away from the bubble, there will be a lot of systems where you can get the first ootfall and there may be systems that are just 200 light years away from the bubble that no one‘s been to yet but it’s like finding a needle in a haystack meaning probably not worth trying.

@@AtlasRandGaming Thanks for the thorough reply - not through all your video yet, so maybe you covered it. Regardless, I appreciate your time/effort to share.

Also, if you wreck or some unfortunate thing happens, you might only lose millions worth of data vs billions worth of data. Well worth the tritium cost, and you can bring all the things.

Always check the G of the Planet before you land otherwise you might Face Planet !

Great tips, though you gotta keep in mind you do have to be the first to SELL the data.
@CMDRKailoren22 күн бұрын
For the exo first discovery bonus yes, however first footfall is credited instantly once you get the pop up on the planet. You don't need to sell the data to get first footfall credit

It's not most valuable ) Fonticulua Fluctus is. But Tectonicas is the most common and easy to find among valuable exo biology.

I don’t tink I’ve ever scan one of them in all this time! Whats it pay?

Fonticulua Fluctus is $20,000,000 (.34% population recorded) Conditions:Ice/Oxygen Also Fonticulua Segmentatus $19,000,000 (.83% recorded population) Conditions: Ice/Neon Incredibly hard to find these! Stratum Tectonica is at $19,000,000 with a much higher percentage of locating at 48%. The obvious choice is Tectonica unless you want to literally explore and bring that less than half a percentage of Fluctus up. And I mean real exploring.

@@AtlasRandGaming Fonticula Fluctus is 20,000,000 whereas Stratum Tectonicas is 19,010,800. There's actually three more that are the same value as Tectonicas (Tussock Stigmasis, Fonticulua Segmentatus and Concha Biconcavis) however Stratum Tectonicas is the easiest one to find by far which is why everyone targets it.

An hour and a half video to tell you fly at least 2k ly from the bubble preferably not towards popular tourist sites. Thats it… thats all you have to do. Why does that take over an hour to explain?
@AtlasRandGaming22 күн бұрын
You missed the point of the video. But if you want to use the random direction method it will work too, you just won’t know how far you have to go and in which direction. Play how you like. In the video you saw it was 1/2 the distance you mention and with a very high probability of first footfall specifically for a stratum tectonicus. My videos all show me doing what I’m explaining. If I was just posting on redit it would be a paragraph not an hour long video, but I make videos for people who often comments that they appreciate seeing something demonstrated in game with no cuts, rather then just reading a post on redit.

@@AtlasRandGaming I think the point here is that you made an hour+ long video to explain something that could have easily taken half that time.
