Great content! Wellbutrin did a miracle for me at the beginning but 4 months later stopped working and the withdrawal kicked in. I increased the dose, had the same effect as in the beginning, but 2-3 months later - heavy withdrawal again. Now I understand why! I think Wellbutrin it’s a great drug but definitely not for the long-term. If your depression is so severe that you can’t stand up from bed and be functional, it can definitely help you to put yourself together, so that you make it through work related deadlines or tasks. But you should definitely look for another Options to build up a well-being and to maintain it in the long term. That was my experience.

Hi all. I read somewhere a few years ago that tryptophan can be a risk as it was a banned manmade amino. Is 5-HTP safer or is it to new to know and would as an opinion 5-HTP be a better current choice to load and wean of Bupropion? I have flush and non flush Niacin, and topical magnesium already but as I have Graves disease so internal magnesium just makes me use the bathroom even faster than I already do which is like 10 x a day. So with me I been on Bupropion 3 years and am basically back to square 1 zilch motivation like a stuck in bed feeble zombie. No desire to eat or do anything not even do this which took me a few months to share my situation and now its being shared with the public. Meds are getting me knowhere I need another approach. My brain is wanting the effects originated when I first started on Welbutrin but I was made aware of what you mentioned about needing to keep raising dose. I am afraid of that so I just stuck where I am but another safe method is needed since I lost any desire in life. Hope to hear back.
