It would be nice if the scope took a picture when the rifle is fired, and you could adjust the red crosshairs to the bullet hole in the picture. Not try to hold the white crosshairs on the bullseye as you adjust the red crosshairs to the bullet strike. You can never hold it perfectly steady while adjusting, and you may not have been exactly on the bullseye when you pulled the trigger.

Five guys, five similar rifles, all shooting the same caliber, all identical scopes, all from the same dealer. 3 of the 5 had to be sent back day one at the range. After all replacements were received and all five were confirmed as "working", only 2 of us (oddly 2 that had to get a replacement) could get it to zero. All of us followed the instructions verbatim, and identically. Started this whole process almost 2 weeks before our hunt. All said and done, we were still jacking around with these things the day before we left. In ~theory~ this is a great product. Pheromonal idea, smart advertising, excellent cosmetic design. BUT for nearly a thousand dollar scope, yall need to fire whoever is in charge of your QC operations off the production line, reexam the materials used, perhaps the skill level of your factory workers, something. AT LEAST ONE IN FIVE, in the hands of fairly tech savvy hunters, should have worked without issue.

Before all this digital stuff, back in the ole' days. One would normally zero your scope at 100 yards. Then knowing your bullet trajectory, adjust your aim point for the distance you're shooting. Not much is mentioned here or in the manual about doing this at a specific range. Why not? If I don't "tell" the x-sight how far away the target is, I don't see how one shot zero could be accurate.

When you zero the scope make sure you have the ballistic calculator off. The reason you could be way off paper at 100 yards is that the scope is not exactly at the center. may be off by a little and you are missing at 100. Try to zero at 50 yards then work your way to 100.
