That sound, of a hand swishing through an unruly pile of Lego, trying to uncover the right thing when the owner of the limb barely has a concept of what that "right thing" even is. Pure catharsis.

To me that sound must seem to Eva to be similar to the sound of the surf racing through the shingle on the beach when she is searching for her perfect stone to play with on your walks with her. In short Eva is trying to join you in a game that she invented. If I were you I think that I would want to check her mouth after she has been chewing on the sharp edges and corners of the Lego bricks for any tiny bleeds from her teeth and her roof of her mouth. I must admit that I never thought that I would ever while away a quiet afternoon watching two adults building Lego blocks together.

This was very wholesome and a great example of why people shouldn't be so uptight and self conscious about how they spend their free time. We were all children once and it's great to let our inner child out regularly and it can be a great way to get creative and get parts of our brains we leave idle working. Much love and I'm really enjoying the Advent videos ~ Tom

1. You learn the name of the country in its own language e.g. Suomi is Finland. 2. You learn to recognise what is important for a country e.g. a portrait of the Queen versus a new hydroelectric dam. 3. You swap with other people so that you learn trading skills. 4. You might make some money by buying stamps with accidental imperfections. 5. You learn the virtue of recycling. 6. If you have no imagination you just gaze dumbly at your collection. I mainly did 1 and 2. 😊

I remember them as being expensive and sort of exotic, as all European toys were back then. My favorite construction toy was an Erector Set that was older than me.
