As a veteran player since 2016, im loving this, yes fights take longer and stuff, but theyre no longed dictated by wheter you lost one tank or not. In 5v5, if you get rid of one support OR the tank, you pretty much lose the fight and gotta regroup, in 6v6 theres a lot mote fightback potential, team fights feel like actual team fights insead of "avoid the tank, kill the healer" and also having 2 tanks makes all of the players equal in value

@ardiandes112 happens in both regarless of the format 5v5 or 6v6 that's how moira work so you going that route you take atlease 2 kills per figh make it worth the flank moira

I've been playing since 2018 and maining tank (Dva at the time), so I experienced 6v6 and 5v5, and honestly always preferred 5v5. So when the whole 6v6 debate really started taking off in the community, I was very much a 6v6 sceptic. I tried out this mode not expecting much and... surprisingly I actually love it! Maybe it's because most of my 6v6 experience was under GOATS era and the balance team being AFK during that time, or maybe it's just all the heroes (especially tanks) and QOL changes since then have really added up, but whatever it is, this new 6v6 is different and more fun than either 5v5 OR old 6v6 for me. It actually gives me real hope that this will actually shake things up in a good way for the game and that it has a bright future ahead of this as long as the devs keep experimenting and being willing to try new things even when those things are radical.

I haven't played much due to life, but I LOVE this 6v6 mode. Even the loses and struggles didn't feel as bad to go through to me for some reason. I play a match of 6v6 and actually get excited to queue into further matches. With 5v5 I play a match and want to stop playing almost immediately lol.

Things DIE… that’s the best part Tanks are strong but not TOOO strong. I loved playing Doom and being able to play as DOOM… I loved being a flanking tank and then having another tank stay back and hold the line!!! That’s LITERALLY the best thing ever.

Since 6v6 has been out both me and my wife have been only playing 6v6 we’ve both been playing OW since it came out, I even played the beta way back when. Honestly we’ll probably continue to play 6v6 until it goes away

@AlexTheHorrid wonder why marvel rivals is big ? You can play two tanks is way diff and better solo tank since you get crowd controlled getting sleept and slowed etc by 5 people since you the bigger target

I’ve been playing exclusively 6v6 since the test started, it’s much more fun as a tank and pretty much the same for dps, but playing support doesn’t feel as impactful anymore, it also gets a little crowded which has pros and cons. overall I still vastly prefer it over 1-2-2 5v5 because double tank is really important to me, but I also think limit 2 5v5 was really great as well and would compete with 6v6 for best gamemode in my mind

I got to play 3 matches yesterday after work and omg this is the way the game is ment to be played. Feels like overwatch again. However, roadhog needs his rework back or a new rework just like OW1 I hate having a hog as a tank cause it means you only have 1 tank. Doom as a co dive tank with Dva is really fun. I think I am gonna be an off tank main for the next few weeks

Great video as always keep it up! The 6v6 test shows how superior the game format is. All roles feel so much better. Almost everyone in the comments agrees as it seems. Hope they add a ranked mode and all tank players just q 6v6 so they delete the awful 5v5 experience, wich is just deathmatch with one tank player..

I always defended 5v5 since I always had fun. Now that i got to try 6v6 in ow2, im actually having more fun! I like it quite a lot so far. I actually hated 6v6 in ow1, i guess it was more so the pre-reworked kits i didnt like. Yeah, i like this direction so far, been having a blast with all this chaos. Ive been playing mainly support. I guess i just like overwatch in general lol. Im extremely curious how everything will pan out!

@@LizardWizard1999 remember they're patches and balanced team didn't nerf double shield or switch the meta they had no I dea how to nerf brig eather and they were slow on patches they nerfed brig 20 times in ow1

@stormchaser7023 yeah i heard about that! The game wasnt updated for a long time. i started during the lunar new years event in 2020. Yeah... I really didnt like double shield and any of the metas i experienced in ow1 😅. I started with just lucio and mercy at that time though and Didnt play comp. Nowadays I really enjoy comp when I do. Beginning of ow2 was strange, i didnt like the zarya meta at all.

@stormchaser7023 yeah i totally get that. I never really had a problem with those two though. I mean, im usually in gold which is my favorite rank anyways. On support im usually on lifeweaver, and damage im usually on bastian or mei. Been enjoying kiriko recently though. But yeah my least favorite tanks to go against are d.va and zarya if they're really really good. If theyre average it's not bad. Some of them doom players are crazy though omg!!! Haha. Im curious how they'll balance tanks in the near future

It’s the only thing I’ll be playing in quick play. It’s pure chaos lots of people don’t know how to work together the stagger is so bad but when it works it works great I’m loving it.

I’ve seen double shields but it never really felt like an issue, with 6 people there seemed to always be enough flanking opportunities to avoid them

The only soreness so far is undoing some changes that made a hero feel better overall rather than strictly being about them being the only Tank. Zarya bubbles reverting after 2 years feels very clunky and, oppressive as Orisa can be, crit immunity on Fortify felt like part of its identity

I think they reverted them because those abilities on the heroes are too op , if you give roadhog a better breather he has even less moments of vulnerability because of a second tank in the way, same with 2 personal zarya ubbles. They will both feel like the never die

I think that there should be some type of phaux comp mode because there are some people queueing to simply experience 6v6 but there are also people stacking and playing to win and find the strongest comps

hard say i like it or not because 6v6 has Competive players soloing lobies or stacking with friends to steamroll people. (also fact i got 5 confermed cheaters as well a few i ran into twice and saw them get banned) So hard say Future going be bright or not. (At least can say the lay back games i did get are amazing)

double shield isn’t really that good anymore honestly since sigmas barrier has less health and orisa doesn’t have the barrier anymore. plus there’s so many characters that just shred barriers now

I need to play 6v6 more to truly form an opinion, but so far I am... struggling on support. I hate the defensive/healbotting playstyle that I often feel like I have to take, and the lack of options to make a game-changing play is a little upsetting. DPS feels good, probably better than in 5v5. Tank also doesn't feel *horrible*, but I personally haven't felt any substantial changes yet. I also hate the whole "main tank" "off-tank" thing that, unfortunately, has proven to be a necessity in my games so far. It feels restricting as hell

I tried 6v6, and it's not as fun as I thought it would be. I gave it about 4-5 hours, and if it comes back, I'll stop playing. It's too much chaos, and too busy, it made me realize how much 5v5 is better.

@esandoval210 4/5hours is not enough play time get used to a game bro you just haven't playd ow1 in your life I have playd since season 18 ow1 and plus that just a experiment is not fully balanced but is better because you have two tanks and even tho one dies there's still a chance to retake the fight in 5v5 tank dies oh figh over why ? Because there's no tank pressure and space that's why tanks on 5v5 q times are shorter because no one says that role so I'm assuming you play supp or dps

This 6v6 is good. Blizzard still has a LOOONGGGGGGG road of reconstruction to bring most of us “regulars” back. The community is still too Toxic. Almost every one of my friends that I tried getting to play, have lasted a year or so before going to other games as it’s a combo platter of window licking products of parents that are first cousins versus basement goblins 🧌 that spew off nothing but unhinged anger and toxicity lol not a good escape from “reality” for most of us gamers.
